Simple and clean. Manager was very friendly and welcoming. My brother left his cell phone and he was so polite to call us as quickly as possible so I could drive back and retrieve it.

The owner/manager of the hotel was so friendly, efficient, and helpful. He checked me in quickly and then told me to get in my car and follow him around to where my room would be and carried my suitcase upstairs to the room! While I've come to expect this kind of service in most hotels in Asia, (and he is Asian- South Korean)- it is definitely above and beyond for a budget motel in the US and really made my day! The place is old and no-frills, but very clean and comfortable, and the room is more spacious than I'd imagined. There is a Mexican restaurant next door and a small grocery store a two minute walk away, so even though this is a rural area, just off the interstate, it's very convenient. I'd definitely stay here again if I was to pass through this way, and highly recommend to anyone who just wants a clean, safe place to sleep.

An older motel, updated somewhat. Some funky homemade furniture but quite serviceable. Kind of pricey for the age and middle of nowhere. Cheerful desk person. They are trying hard. :-)

A very clean older property. I usually stay here 1-2 times a year. Everything is always clean and Yan is very accommodating when I have to check in late.

The owner was very helpful and went out of his way to get us settled into the room. Great service! Property is dated, but very clean. This was the last hotel we stayed in on our 7 day cross country road trip, and the beds were the most comfortable, including the big name chain hotels we stayed in!

An absolute gem
This is a surprising gem. Kind of in the middle of nowhere. : ) you can tell the owner takes pride 8n his hotel. The room was big and the bed was comfortable. We woukd absolutely come here agaun.. Bonus: there is a good mexican restaurant next door. Thete is also a small store near the restaurant, and all this is out in the country. We were delighted with all of it!

Great service on I-70
Our quick overnight stay was great! The owner brought us to the room and explained how the heat worked and where the light switches were. He went above and beyond for the cost. The bonus was a terrific Mexican restaurant right next door! Perfect and very comfortable for an older motel. Also very clean!

Nice
Simple but nice little motel, clean and comfortable. The only issue we had was that the TV sound wouldn’t turn down, so we had to turn it off, so it wouldn’t blast through the walls. The owner was very nice, and his friendliness really helped.

Sweet staff but very outdated motel.
The proprietor was very sweet and the staff was very nice. The rooms seemed clean, and had no smell. That said, the motel didn’t look like it had been updated since the sixties. We had paid for two nights, and chose not to stay the second night because the ancient air conditioner was so loud that my husband couldn’t sleep, there were very few power outlets in the room and were oddly placed, made using my cpap and charging our phones and watches difficult and the toilets were so low we had trouble getting on and off them (Of course, we are tall and a bit older) This choice would probably be best if you needed a cheap place to sleep on a long car trip. The nearest breakfast we found is 5 miles away in Strasburg.
