âNice central location but other than that not a great stay. You can see into the other bedroom next to yours. Kitchen wasn't cleaned so there was still some rice left in the pot from the previous guest. The kitchen tools were blunt and the non stick frying pan overused and had lost it's "non stick" coating. There was no mat for the shoes so there after a day out there was gravel all over the floor.
But the worst part is that we arrived one day late due to a snowstorm. Sonder made no effort to...
âThe property is very cool and the history of the place unique. Parking is tricky first time but the valet service was five star and hotel staff were outstanding. Itâs a unique experience and close to downtown attractions within walking distance. â
âThe check in was a pain, had to wait 2 plus hours for our room to be ready. After a tired journey, all we wanted was go to the room. Also, each family, needs to check in with a staff, for breakfast. Once you arrive at the breakfast area, you check in ( usually a queue), if there is a table, you are called in, otherwise you wait until they find you a table (depending on how many are in your family). That was super annoying.â

But the worst part is that we arrived one day late due to a snowstorm. Sonder made no effort to make up for the extra day we had to pay for. Albeit in their cancellation policy, I would argue that it's common decency not to take a full charge when your guest is stuck on a train for 20 hours."
