2 bedroom/2 bath home on 5 acres. 1 bedroom, 1 bath (shampoo, conditioner & body wash available), living area, dining and kitchen on the upper level and 1 bedroom, 1 bath (shampoo, conditioner & body wash available), living area and laundry area on lower level. There is also room for extra guests if they prefer to bring an air mattress . Also ATV and snowmobile access located across Highway 63 on Short Road. Conveniently located across the road from the American Birkebeiner pickup/drop off site and a mile south of Cable.

We had a fantastic stay. Susie had us set up for check in, so ask we had to do was walk in. There was a full kitchen, plus a coffee maker with filters ready for use. The upstairs TV was a smart TV, so we could attach our accounts to watch it streaming services. Our youngest was thrilled to see some toys to play with. We're already talking about coming back next time we come up north!

Very easy check in and parking- fast access to Cable food and coffee shop. Here for quiet, restful overnight stay surrounding bike race on Birkie Trail-great location for coming and going from Trail head. Susie responds quickly to questions and communicates necessary info ahead of stay. Second stay for us-everything needed is in this organized property! Thank you!

Perfect, peaceful, secluded, quiet stay!

My husband rode weekend bike race on Birkie trail. This location is superb for Birkie trail head access ( 8miles away) and food/ coffee- great coffee shop & fired pizza in Cable-few minutes away. The home is very clean and well organized- warm on a cold night with flannel sheets. ( Also easy access to Hayward.) We will stay here again!

Perfect for get away

We loved the property. When I say there was everything you could need here, I mean everything! I brought my own mini-Keurig, as I prefer that to the 10-cup pot that was there. I think I even saw an air-fryer in the closet! It was cozy and arranged so well. The refrigerator had an ice and water dispenser, and the water tasted as good as my own! The setting is beautiful and the property obviously well cared for. The host lives right next door, which was convenient for us, as we had trouble with the TV and didn't know if it was senior citizen operator error. Susie came right over and checked it out. It was the TV, not us. So, she brought the one up from downstairs and got it all set up for us and made sure it worked correctly. The next day, she bought a new large TV for us and came over and installed it as soon as we were there for her to do it. It was a perfect location, with the driveway off the highway, but with the woods around us, we never heard any traffic. It made a great base for us to explore that part of Wisconsin! Susie was a great host!

Great place!

This place is in excellent condition, was very, very clean, had all of the necessaries include and was conveniently located for us. We fished Lake Namakagon and the boat launch was an easy 15-20 minute drive. Overall we were very pleased with our stay.

Babbling Pines

3rd time here and it's been perfect each time. The trails are easy to access and close to Cable's ammenities. The house is well stocked and immaculate. There is an upper and lower level both with bathrooms so great for 2 couples.

Peaceful and Relaxing

This is a beautiful cabin in a peaceful and relaxing setting. It's easy to get to off the highway and close proximity to town. We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay. We will definitely recommend this cabin as a place to stay when you are in the Cable, WI area.

Awesome stay

We very much enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying at this home again. It was very clean, private yard, quiet location, close to Cable for shopping. We were able to have a campfire and use a charcoal grill. All great!

Little gem of a cottage

This cottage was extremely clean. The cottage was very spacious, we expected it to be smaller. Beds were both very comfortable. This cottage was extremely stocked with everything you could possibly need, even a back scratcher. We have never been in a rental that was stocked this well. When walking in you got that comfy homey feeling. The only negative I have is that we could not enjoy a fire at night in the nice fire pit due to rain both nights we were there. But that is not the fault of the owner but mother nature.

Cozy, clean and awesome location!

Everything was perfect at the property and close to the CAMBA trail system. It had everything we needed for our stay including a garden hose to clean our bikes and gear. Washer/Dryer in basement. We biked over 65 miles for our short 2 night stay and it suited our needs perfectly. It was within a 5 minute drive to the many great restaurants in Cable. Couldn't have worked out any better! Will be back again!

Exactly what we needed

We were in town for a bike race and Susie's place was a perfect spot for us. It was clean, comfortable, well-appointed, and conveniently located near all the places we needed to be. Will definitely try to stay here again when we're back in the area.
