“Me and my family have stayed at this resort multiple times over the last decade plus. This recent trip was a little underwhelming when it came to the room cleanliness where the floors were left gritty and sandy and the drinks and snacks were not re-stocked as they usually are. And many weddings were scheduled this week making the normal entertainment venues relocate to sub-optimal locations in the resort. Other than that, all other aspects of the stay were 5 star as usual.”

Nice rooms but missing fundamentals for a 5 star hotel...for example, ice bucket, possibility to make coffee or tea, etc. Also disappointed at the system for reserving lounge chairs around the pool. Nearly everything is taken before 9am by guests who belong to certain clubs, or who pay more, which seems unfair to guests who already pay a premium to stay at such a resort.”

After checking in we were greeted by our concierge Oswaldo who said he would make out dinner reservations for the night but in actuality he was trying to sell us a time share. “We booked a room for four, but the bedding for the third and fourth guests was an extremely uncomfortable pull-out bed provided without a blanket. It was poor quality and not worth the price. Additionally, we were incorrectly charged for snacks that we never even touched. The beach at this location was unusable; there was no dedicated swimming area, and a black flag was up due to dangerous conditions and jellyfish. Meanwhile, other resorts just 20 minutes away had safe, accessible swimming...
