Lovely home near a still beach
This home is beautiful with fantastic grounds. The second floor has great hammocks on the balcony for lounging and reading. There are a lot of roosters in the neighborhood so bring ear plugs if that bothers you. Our kiddos loved the quiet waters at the beach.

Amazing villa close to everything
Lots of room inside and out. We spent a lot of time on the veranda overlooking the town, so comfortable. Well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds, great facilities and amenities. Short walk to downtown and the beach. Very safe neighborhood. The grounds are beautifully maintained with lots of flowering plants.

The house and grounds are lovely and our hosts were very nice. There is a large balcony on the second floor which was wonderful for morning coffee and nighttime stargazing. It was an easy walk to the waterfront of Boqueron, which is quiet during the week but hopping on the weekends - fun.

Relaxing on the porch in Boqueron
Lots of space and lovely porch to sit listening to the roosters. Great location, walkable to several restaurants and for day trips to San Germán for history, Joyuda for dinner, Rincón to beach and watch surfers. Owner very kindly allowed us to leave our luggage on last day so that we didn’t have to leave it in the car at the beach/lighthouse. Also opened coconuts for us from their garden. Would definitely come back and use grill area next time!

Lovely local flavor
Comfortable 2 story house with spacious upper level balcony and large garden with flowers and fruit trees. Beds and bedrooms were quite comfortable. Owners were welcoming and accomodating. At the holidays with a full moon the combination of roosters crowing, fireworks, karaoke, and dogs barking did make for some restless sleep, but otherwise the location is great.

Amazing!!
This is my second time staying at Clara’s Villa and I would not stay anywhere else in that area. So close to all the attractions in Boquerón. Edna and her husband are a delight and always accesible when you need them. They know the area and help us with everything that we needed it. The place is super clean and super nice! We are already planning another family reunion and this is the place we will be staying. Thank you for making our stay special!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at an VRBO in Buqueron, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the beauty and charm of the house. It truly felt like a home away from home. The location of the house was nothing short of excellent. Situated in the heart of Buqueron, we found ourselves within easy reach of all the local attractions and amenities. Whether it was exploring the vibrant town center or enjoying the nearby beaches, everything was conveniently accessible. One of the standout features of this house was undoubtedly the backyard and porch. We spent countless hours basking in the tranquility and serenity of the outdoor space. The meticulously maintained garden provided a picturesque backdrop, and the porch was the perfect spot to unwind with a cup of coffee or simply soak up the sun. Furthermore, the host was incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. They went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met and promptly addressed any inquiries or concerns we had. Their hospitality added an extra layer of warmth to our overall experience. In summary, I cannot recommend this house in Buqueron highly enough. It offers a beautiful retreat in an excellent location, with a backyard and porch that are simply delightful. If you're looking for a peaceful and charming getaway, don't hesitate to book this place. You won't be disappointe

Perfect Island Vibes
We loved everything about our stay at Clara’s house! The pictures don’t do the house justice, it was perfect! The house was spacious, Edna was very communicative and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed the balcony upstairs every day and the handyman helped us to pick mangoes from the tree in the backyard! We will definitely book another stay here.

Family vacation in Boqueron
Clara's villa is absolutely lovely, with plenty of room for the whole family. The porches are the best part, unless you consider the huge mango tree full of ripe fruit as the best part....hard to say! We enjoyed exploring the nearby beaches and alll Cabo Rojo has to offer.

Property was well set up for our group with plenty of space. Only the bedrooms have air conditioning so most of the time the common areas and bathrooms in the house were somewhat hot and humid. Outside deck on second floor generally had a good breeze so we spent a lot of time out there.

Home away from home
The best way that I can explain my experience in this lovely home is simply AMAZING. I really wanted to experience the magical realism of Cabo Rojo and I found it in this home, close to beaches, great food and amazing people. Edna and her husband really made me feel like I was family, they greeted us with open hearts. I hope to stay here again In the near future.

Excellent property, wonderful location.
There is so much space in this property including a wonderful balcony, well equipped with all different types of seats, hammocks etc. . Inside there was masses of seating areas, well equipped kitchen, laundry. Garden was enormous and well populated with many different birds. 5 minutes walk to the beach and restaurants. Couldn’t have wished for a better villa

Nice property, perfect location
Property is even better than what pictures show. Perfect location, you can walk to the Poblado, outside patio is huge, the gazebo area is a most and very nice set, the landscaping aroumd is very pretty. The communication with host is very easy and accesible. Check in is easy and simple. The property has an electric generator that is a super plus! In PR electric interruptions are common, therefore having an electric generator is very important. We had a great time and we hope to stay in the property next time we visit Boqueron.

Amazing place to stay!
I have been to Boquerón a few times and have stayed in a couple of different places however this one was the best! Walking distance to el poblado and boquerón beach. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The house manager was very accesible and attentive. Overall a five star place! Will be there next year again!

we were a little apprehensive about our stay once we arrived but that soon faded away. We soon discovered that we within short distance to all the beaches. I will say just be patient and get out and discover Boqueron.

PERFECT AS ALWAYS!
I've stayed here several times now! It is by far the best! The hosts are always welcoming and kind! They make you feel at home! It's always super clean and cozy! There is plenty of space and it's in the best location...walking distance to town! Whenever I plan a trip to Boqueron, I always check first to see if it's available before even considering any other place!

WE LOVED IT! If you want the true Puerto Rican experience and only waking distance from Boqueron, this is the house to rent! House is very spacious. Don Luis greeted us with a fresh loaf of PR bread (the best) in the morning and Doña Edna was extremely responsive to my questions. Hearing the roosters in the morning, while drinking my coffee on the 2nd floor balcony was amazing. We grilled on the outdoor kitchen one night, playing dominoes and listening to music which was super relaxing. Can't say it enough... loved it!

Fabulous!
Loved Edna’s place, they were super helpful and accommodating to our needs. Great large house and the terrace was a wonderful place to hang outside even in the rain! Sounds of coqui frogs and chickens and sheep, so relaxing!

Villa Clara Maravillosa!
Lovely home and beautiful tropical garden. Relaxing ambiance and a real traditional home. The hosts were attentive and thoughtful. True to the listing it was a short walk to the beach and restaurants. I will bring my family again.

Loved the large breezy deck! Great location to restaurants and beach. Could use a new coffee maker and larger size. It was a four- cup pot and worked occasionally. Also a blender would be nice to have for drinks. Kitchen faucet could be replaced. It worked but hard to adjust in temperature and flow of water. Especially important since no dishwasher. But lovely place!!!

Spacious house in great location
We had a lovely stay at this house in Cabo Rojo. It was so spacious and well laid out for our family of 6. As advertised it was in a walkable distance to restaurants and the beach. The property has gorgeous outdoor space including the upper deck which we watched the New Year's Eve fireworks from and played dominoes. The furniture like the beds could definitely use an upgrade as well as the fridge but mostly we really enjoyed this house!

Great house for the beach vacation.
We had a great experience in the villa- it was spacious, clean, and there is a beautiful balcony that we enjoyed eating dinner at every night. Boqueron is a vibrant town with an amazing beach with facilities and downtown area.

PR stay
The property was a good sized nice big yard and close to the beach and little waterfront restaurant area. The upstairs porch was wonderful. Edna’s husband was very kind and helped with lots of info. Kitchen refrigerator did not keep food cold and there were animals (goats, sheep, chickens, roosters and possibly pigs) next door which was very smelly if you sat out at the little kitchen area in the yard.

Villa Clara
Even before we arrived our hosts were at our disposal to insure everything was prepared. During our stay Mr. Luis was always asking how we were doing and if there was anything he could do to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Roomy house and very close to the beach. Highly recommended for those that like to cook and particularly those that do so on the grill. Wouldn’t change a thing, if I had to do it all over again.

Property was nice and clean. Edna gave us a warm welcome and was very responsive to our needs. Property located within walking distance to downtown Boqueron. Some of the appliances were in need of replacement, but I was told that is now being taken care of. Recommend to include the weekend as part of your stay as only a few bars were open during the weeknights. Overall would recommend for families or groups.

Summer 2021 Family Trip
This is my favorite place of all of which we've stayed at in Puerto Rico - third trip as a family with six. The home was very spacious and comfortable, organized - with great detail, breezy, equipped with lots of home/kitchen and items great for the beach. It has a comfortable patio with plenty of beautiful fruits and plants. We could not believe the size of the mangoes we encountered and savored. It's location is three blocks from very good restaurants and walking distance to the City of Boqueron and "El Balneario." Owners Luis and Edna were absolutely phenomenal. They were warm, charming, caring, and punctual in meeting our family and needs. Upon arriving Luis ensured we got some of the available mangoes from the patio tree, and even brought us the local water bread a few days later which I craved for and was delicious! The house felt very safe. The breeze was super comfortable, specially on the balcony. As animal lovers we made our way to our next door neighbors who had a cow, three goats and three pigs. They welcomed us and allowed us to feed them and take pictures. We all loved the overall experience and could not have asked for a better get away and would consider returning to this beautiful and comfortable house and location. Thank you Luis and Edna for everything! You truly are a great representative of our beautiful island and culture! Until next time! The Rodriguez family!

Great Stay in Boqueron!
We stayed here for a week and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The house, grounds, location, and of course the hosts (Edna & Luis)...all of it made for an excellent stay! The town of Boqueron really had a local feel and we loved that (the beach was great and within easy walking distance, the weekend nights were fun, and the restaurants we tried were all really good and also within easy walking distance). The house was spacious, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed (the outside BBQ area was perfect). We would stay here again without hesitation if we find ourselves in Puerto Rico again!

Disappointed
Love the house but the electricity when out for hours ruin my food coz the refrigerator was not working properly after electricity came back up had to trow grocery’s away coz freezer was not working very disappointed they could have a generator for cases like power out .. other then that nice please to vacation ..

We are sorry for the inconvenience, but the whole island had problems with blackouts during that week. We already have a generator and battery fans for each bedroom in case of emergency. The fridge is working fine. Thank you for let us know.

Authentic Puerto Stay
Very nice place within walking distance to the town and the beach. The town was busy at night with nice restaurants and bars. The bedrooms had great AC units that cooled off the bedrooms. There is a beautiful breeze that comes thru and the hammocks upstairs on the porch where a pleasure.

Great spot for a few days away
We enjoyed 2 nights at this property. Very spacious house, wonderful second floor patio with an amazing breeze. Super quick walk to downtown Boqueron made it easy to enjoy the nightlife and beach. Love the family history of this home and the very large property for kids and adults to spread out.

Excelente estadía
Una joya en Boquerón. Localización privada, en una calle sin salida, pero con rápido acceso al poblado caminando. La casa es súper cómoda y cuenta con todo lo necesario para una estadía grupal: muchos espacios útiles de entretenimiento, ocio, descanso, hacer ejercicios, trabajar, cocinar/preparar comida (adentro y afuera). Todos los cuartos son grandes, el balcón cubre tres lados del segundo piso, los baños son amplios y cada espacio de la casa cuenta con ventanas, así que siempre entra luz y brisa. Disfrutamos muchísimo la naturaleza de los predios y lo bonito que mantienen el jardín donde pudimos obervar zumbadores polinando las flores. Finalmente, nos sentimos muy a gusto apoyando a propietarios locales, personas que crecieron y han vivido toda su vida en Boquerón y que ahora comparten este hogar de familia bien cuidado con sus huespedes.
