Not the best, Not the worst.

Overall, the place is OK, you have to account that is a older part of the poblado of Boqueron. the location is awesome. you are close to everything, the night life and the restaurants. The restaurant at this location, El Mercado, is outstanding. The food was delicious but a bit overpriced. The conditions of the VRBO could had been better, no coffee maker, they gave just two towels for a four day stay. I had to communicate with the restaurant staff to get the owners to bring us more towels. On the last day there we woke up to a back up sewage. the shower flooded with grey water, the toilet would not flush, and the pipes leaked under the sink. we contacted the owners and had to wait until for the plumber to arrive because he was tied up at another job. The owner was very nice but she kinda hinted that maybe "something" fell in the toilet and clogged the pipes. it was not us. The whole building was backed up. the plumber snaked our bathroom and it did not cleared the pipes. the went to the main in the back of the second floor and were able to clear the obstruction. The grey water started to come thru the wall. At this point I requested another room or was leaving. they gave me another room that was not very clean, and had bugs in it. we had to stay there that night because we could find another place in the area that we wanted. we also wasted half of our day waiting to this situation to remedy. we were not offered compensation for our troubles. never staying again.

La propiedad está localizada dentro del poblado de Boquerón, a 360 metros de la playa (distancia que se camina fácilmente) y ubica en un solar que queda escondido de la calle principal del poblado. Es un lugar preferiblemente para parejas que se queden a descansar y que les guste disfrutar de los encantos que te ofrecen los alrededores del poblado. La propiedad estaba limpia y sencilla, con AC, nevera pequeña y calentador de ducha. La propiedad tiene 2 pisos y la comunicación con el manager fue bien fácil. En al solar ubica un restaurante pero aparenta estar cerrado. Todo queda muy cerca, las tiendas, los restaurantes, la gasolinera, la playa, etc. Lo recomiendo y volvería a quedarme allí.

Great Location

My husband and I had a great time staying here. The room is in the heart of Boqueron, so you can walk to restaurants, shops and the beach. There's a mini fridge in the room, and the only thing that would make the room perfect would be a microwave. If you need to drive off property, I recommend doing it in the morning and returning before 6 or 7pm to get a decent parking space. We left the area on July 3rd, and when we returned that night, the police blocked off the streets that led to the apartment. Fortunately, we spoke with the police and showed them our VRBO confirmation showing where we were staying and that we were trying to get there. Everything worked out, and the cops helped direct us through the barricades so we could get to the property. The property manager was wonderful and very helpful. We took his advice and ate a delicious meal at Tacos and Flowers. Overall, I recommend this property if you like being close to everything.

The property has a great location if you are looking to stay just steps away from Poblado de Boqueron, one thing we were definitely looking for and enjoyed. I would suggest the host to provide better quality towels and maybe have wall hangers to dry towels and/or clothes drying lines in the shower for wet clothes, since one of the rules is to NOT hang clothing/towels outside (which is completely understandable!). Communication with the host is excellent. Thank you for having us!
