Stunning property with gorgeous view
I'm in awe of this property, love the floor to ceiling side to side windows in the living room. The rooms and bathrooms are comfortable and spacious. Bilitis was super helpful in helping me book transportation, catamaran and private chef services. Benjamin and the housekeepers are also very friendly. Loved the stay, wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you.

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing
We had an incredible 9 days at Casa Frison. All couples enjoyed private suites, but most of all enjoyed the living areas both inside and out. Air conditioning was superb in all areas of the home. Yoga pavilion was perfect for morning yoga and sunsets. Bilitis was responsive and wonderful to work with. She has handpicked great staff at the Casa. Ben was clearly a standout from the get go as he was present for our arrival. Jose Luis and the two cleaning ladies also went above and beyond in their attention to detail every step of the way. Thanks to you all! We rented two golf carts for our stay that were very necessary to get around the local area. Johnny, our almost daily driver was also top notch! Not only was he a safe driver he was very nice and quite accommodating with drop offs, pickups and assisting with other adventures. All and all, An amazing vacation! Perfect Getaway
This was one of the most amazing places we have ever stayed! From the scenery, to the amazing hospitality it was definitely the most relaxing vacation spot ever. Would highly recommend to anyone going to Costa Rica and hope to return soon!!

Wow, wow, wow!
I cannot say enough good things about our stay at Casa Frisons - we absolutely loved it and didn't want to leave! Bilitis, the property owner/manager, was outstanding. She was helpful throughout the entire process - answering questions, giving recommendations, scheduling activities, etc. and making sure our vacation was the best it could be. The house was amazing. Beautiful and spacious with the most incredible views. We had two families (one with three kids, the other with two) and had plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space but also be together and not feel crowded. The outdoor spaces were second to none - the kids spent endless hours in the pool, playing cornhole, and just running around in the grass or playing ping pong. Benjamin, the on-site groundskeeper, was very helpful and kept outside impeccably clean. The housekeeping staff also did a wonderful job - and I can't tell you how nice it was that they did our laundry (DAILY!!!). It was truly a treat and we have already booked it for next year. Pura Vida!

Perfect spot for family in Costa Rica!
This was the perfect place for our family to visit CR for the first time. Casa Frisons is laid out beautifully for a large group; plenty of private spots to relax and wonderful group areas for big together time. Benjamin takes care of everything on a daily basis and was super helpful with our questions. The housekeepers do a stellar job as well. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Home
We loved how big and spacious this home was. The maintenance staff came every day to clean up for us which made all the difference in our trip! We definitely recommend this stay for large groups/families.

Great stay at Casa Frisons
We booked Casa Frisons for a group trip to celebrate birthdays. Overall, the stay was incredible. The house and views of the ocean are amazing. We had an issue with the A/C a couple nights in the casita, but the host and grounds crew were very communicative and resolved our issue. One major perk of booking Casa Frisons was the property manager, Bilitis. She gave us recommendations and helped us book all of our excursions and airport transportation before we even arrived. This was very helpful when booking a trip for a group. We would stay here again!

Best birthday trip!
This stay was an absolute dream. Book it, you will love it. The house is even more magnificent in person, and we all want to come back again. Bilitis, our host, took care of every detail. The house has everything you need and more, and she booked all of our activities and golf carts, making the trip so easy. The house has amazing staff who took care of us completely. Benjamin, Luis, and the cleaning crew made sure we were always comfortable and had what we needed. Bilitis was communicative from booking through departure, answering every question and helping us modify our reservations as needed. We never needed for anything. Definitely get the golf carts, it made life so easy and allowed guests to come and go as needed. We also booked the private chefs, both Flamingo Foods and Ben and Arthur, and the meals were incredible. Can’t wait to go back!

Trip of a lifetime
We spent Thanksgiving at Casa Frisons and Villa Fugata with 16 people, ranging in age from 7-70. Three generations who all agree that it was the trip of a lifetime with memories we will never forget, thanks to Bilitis. Both houses were spectacular with views you typically only dream about. Every afternoon we gathered around 3pm to start to watch the sunset, which was a highlight that we looked forward to everyday. Planning for 16 is no easy task, but Bilitis was very fast to respond with great recommendations every step of the way. She ensured we had the best chefs, activities planned, transportation, and more. She was there to greet us and give us a tour when we arrived and was also there at departure to send us on our way. Benjamin was wonderful along with the rest of the staff. We felt very safe and taken care of by all. We cannot wait to return to Casa Frison and Villa Fugata. Thank you Bilitis!

Unforgettable Birthday Celebration!
Casa Frisons and Playa Flamingo was an amazing experience, better than expected! Our group of 11 adults went to Costa Rica to celebrate my wife’s 50th birthday. Casa Frisons had the perfect arrangement where each couple had their own bedroom w/private bathroom, and we were greeted daily with smiles and kindness from each member of the staff. The host, Bilitis, is very knowledgeable about the area and prompt with suggestions and answers to our many questions. She had 3 golf carts ready for us upon arrival and booked activities like a spa day at the house, a private catamaran charter, and arranged transportation to/from the airport. Based on her recommendations, we hired Chef Fabien to prepare a wonderful birthday dinner right at the house! Our group’s favorite local spot was Hemingway’s. We made wonderful memories during those ten days and highly recommend booking Casa Frisons in Playa Flamingo!

Incredible Home
What an incredible home in Playa Flamingo, it was an amazing experience for our first time in Costa Rica! The communication from the homeowner before during and after the trip was outstanding. The onsite staff during our trip were so incredibly nice and attentive during the entire stay. Benjamin (24 hr security and grounds staff) brought us fresh coconuts in the morning. He always had a smile on his face and always went out of his way to help. The house cleaner came each day and would do anything you asked. She kept asking to clean our clothes even though we denied since it wasn’t necessary. The views, the views, the views!!!!!! This house has the best view in all of Playa Flamingo, perched up on an amazing cliff, you could see almost 360 degrees. The home is modern and huge. Plenty of space for a large family or group. We rented a golf cart which came as a recommendation from the owner and some past reviews. It was super convenient to take the golf cart down to the marina where there were plenty of restaurants and shops. We even took the golf cart to the beach one day. The homeowner set up the rental for us and it was already at the house when we arrived. I would recommend everyone rent one. We rented this house for vacation, but I also used it to propose to my girlfriend. It made such an unbelievable setting. Knowing I was going to propose, I asked the homeowner to help me arrange a photographer to come to the house. We will definitely be back!

A week of zen
Zero complaints. Lots of praise Staff were attentive and friendly. Gave a strong sense of security and assurance of easy times. The excursions are so fun. Waterfalls and Sloth sanctuary were the best. House is very cool and sits on a gorgeous lot of land. Views and sounds were immaculate. Golf cart gave easy and fun access to beach and shops. NALU is a must try for breakfast. Have a cocktail at Hazel’s in the marina. And coco loco is just sublime as always Superb experience all around. 10/10

Luxury Living in Guanacaste
This home is absolutely beautiful. Not only is there a huge amount of space, every window offers a phenomenal view. Housekeeping, who were so friendly and considerate, came everyday, and not only cleaned up, changed the towels, and made the beds, but they did our laundry too. It was a true vacation. We had a family reunion of 14, ages 12 to 75. The house has lots of levels and some inclines on the property, so you’ll want to ensure folks have no problem with stairs. The house is high up, so the beach/cove is quite a climb down and up (my 75 year old mom wasn’t able to see the cove due to the climb). The location is pretty off the beaten path - we rented golf carts to go to Flamingo beach, some restaurants and the market, but if you want to be able to explore beyond the area on your own, I recommend renting cars (we weren’t able to, but I imagine cars would have allowed more flexibility). The excursions do include pick-up if you only intend to see Costa Rica through those means. The owner Bilitis was incredibly patient. Being our first time to Costa Rica, I had many questions for her, which she promptly addressed. The staff on the property were so friendly and happy to help with any questions or concerns we had. It was truly a luxury vacation!

Wonderful House, Staff, and Location
A group of 5 couples stayed at this house in July. The house was fantastic. It was very spacious and provided a lot of room for us as a large group or as smaller groups. It was nice to have all the bedding and bathroom toiletries provided. The staff (Security, daily housekeeping, and lawn/pool care) was great. We saw a whale from the deck on the first morning. Lots of parakeets in the trees. The host provided lots of options for activities and booked our day-trips. The nearly beach (Playa Flamingo) was one of the best beaches I've ever been to. We used golf carts to get around most places (lots of restaurants within golf-cart distance) and then the host booked us a large van for longer excursions. Highly recommend. You will not be disappointed.

Amazing experience for a finicky traveler! Beautiful house and views!
I feel like a searched the entire country before I finally landed on Casa Frisons. There were 10 adult family member going on vacation. Myself and husband, my brother and wife, my widowed stepmom, my 20 something niece and daughter, 19yo nephew, and almost 30 nephew and girlfriend. It was a trip we decided to take after my dad passed. The 6 en suite rooms worked out perfectly. I did not feel like we were ever on top of each other and there were lots of great spaces to get away if we would have needed. Even if you do not practice Yoga, there is a great view and breeze down on the platform. There are two extras bathrooms one by the pool and one off the living room. We love the soaps. The host has great communication and assists with lots of extras. She even put me in touch with a pastry chef for a cake for my nephew's bday. The kitchen is well stocked and it was great to shop at the market and cook for ourselves. We even got to utilize the tuna we caught. The staff is great. I don't think I have ever come home with no laundry to do. We always felt safe with the caretaker watching in the gatehouse. Renting the golf cart arranged by the host was awesome for trips around town and to Flamingo Beach. We also rented an SUV for the trip to go into Tamarindo. (I will state the driveway is on a very steep incline so prepare yourself.) I was sad when we had to say goodbye. I would definitely stay again and I would definitely consider Casa Frisons for your vacation. Pura Vida!

Breathtaking views!
Lovely spot with beautiful sunsets. House is superbly equipped. Bilitis and her team care for all of your needs. Flamingo beach is nearby as well as a few restaurants. 4 children ( ages 3 to 10) enjoyed zip lining and the 10 year old took a surfing lesson nearby. We also visited the zoo. It was a wonderful relaxing week hanging out with family from 3 to 70.(group of 10) Warm regards to Bilitis. Superbe!

As for the exterior, the pool and views are certainly the focal points, however, a great lower deck offers a perfect location for a massage, and stairs leading down to a private beach afford one access to the peace and tranquility of the pacific without ever having to leave the property. Bilits, your hostess extraordinaire, has assembled an all-star staff, including the incomparable Benjamin, the property's groundskeeper. Additionally, the daily maid service ensures that the property remains spotless at all times and they'll even do your laundry if requested. Phenomenal!!!!
Words don't describe this house - straight out of Architectural Digest with the most amazing views from all over the property. House is stunning. Every bedroom with a different view and feel. Perfectly appointed. Wonderfully friendly and welcoming staff - Benjamin was the best. Bilitis, our host, was perfect - we just mentioned what activities, which day and time and the rest was taken care of. Each activity, transfer, and reservation was like clockwork. She insures your stay is care free and enjoyable. I can't recommend enough. Just perfect! The golf cart rental is a must and perfect for exploring the area and getting to activities and restaurants, though leaving the house is tough in itself. Sunrises and sunsets, parrots, pelicans, iguanas, whales and etc. You will not be disappointed I assure you. Casa Frisons is phenomenal!

Stunning Views
We stayed in Bilitis' home to celebrate my birthday. My family enjoyed all the home had to offer; the pool, the yoga deck, spectacular sunsets and the walks down to the private beach and surrounding areas. We rented golf carts while we were there to get us to the Flamingo Beach and various activities. The activities we did during our stay were fishing, sunset cruise, beach days and going out for meals. We did have private Chefs Ben and Arthur come to the house one night to cook us a special gourmet meal. The meal was outstanding! I would highly recommend Bilitis and her team. Bilitis made sure that we had everything we needed and made sure our activities ran smoothly. The groundskeeper Benjamin proved to be invaluable. Benjamin was always there to greet us when we were entering or exiting the property and just to help us with anything else in general. It truly was a wonderful week celebrating my birthday.

The #1 Spot - Must stay here!
I doubt there are enough characters in this review to describe how out of this world our experience was at Casa Frison’s. Playa Flamingo is the cutest little town with the perfect amount of restaurants, shops, and grocery stops. La Plaza at the very end of the street has just about everything you would need and the main beach is just a quick ride down the street. The property is unreal. WINDOWS for dayyyys! You can see nothing but ocean from basically every window in the house. We had 9 guests total. Various ages over 30 up to late 70s. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. There was always a nook to disappear to if you wanted privacy or just wanted a peaceful place to read a book. We got massages, a yoga lesson, did a catamaran cruise, rented golf carts. It was all so amazing and if you can do any of all of those things I would recommend it! I had a very small just immediate family wedding ceremony and it was the most beautiful day of my life. The property is huge with lots of lawn space. We worked with a local florist, photographer, and used flamingo foods to be our chef for the day and I could not say enough about how amazing everyone did! The chef is absolutely worth it even just for one special night at the house. The pool is long enough to do some laps and has a pretty deep end so you can fully emerge. The sunrise and sunset are easily seen from the house and we enjoyed them every single day. I will literally dream about coming back here every day till I make it happen. Our go to spot for larger groups staying in Playa Flamingo. The host Bilitis was a dream. Helped to arrange anything we would want to do and make the trip truly flawless. Her kindness and level of service is truly next level. I really don’t think the trip would have been half as smooth without her help. The house staff was so kind and nice. We felt like they were all family by the time we were leaving. Cleaning and taking care of the outdoor areas/pool. Just so nice to think of nothing but relaxing and enjoying Costa Rica. The weather was literally perfect. Breezy a little more on the back side of the house but it was enjoyable in the 3pm heat! We were loving the sun! So much love to Casa Frison’s. Highly highly recommend.

Little slice of paradise!
Absolutely perfect vacation! Bilitis was fantastic from day one, assisting in every aspect of our stay. Made it as close to an all inclusive as you can get. Amazing birthday trip!
10 of us ladies stayed at Casa Frisons for my birthday trip this past weekend and the house is beyond gorgeous! Enough space to spread out and has everything we needed. The pool area is perfect for lounging and for sunset watching. Bilitis was very helpful throughout the planning process and the activities she suggested were great for our group. We also had flamingo foods come in a bunch of times to chef some breakfasts and dinner. The food was amazing and the service even better. We did have a couple issues with our stay like one of the AC's not working and electricity issue but they host and her staff did everything to resolve them quickly and the host also worked with me to compensate that. Benjamin and the cleaning ladies were a god send in terms of taking care of us. We were spoiled to the max. Definitely book this house for an amazing view and time!

Absolutely Incredible
What an incredible home that our family ages 7-77 enjoyed together. The views are stunning, the grounds and interior are immaculate, the pool is absolutely fabulous and the rustic walk down to the private beach incredible. We rented golf carts to easily go to and from Flamingo beach as well which was fabulous. I can't say enough about the owner and the staff. The owner was so incredibly responsive to each and every message, had golf carts pre-ordered ready to go in the garage, fridge and pantry fully stocked and the chef recommendations she sent us ended up being fabulous for 2 nights of dinner cooked in the home. Celine was a great property manager helping with reservations and answering questions and, Mary, Lucia and Benjamin were fabulous in caring for the house and the grounds. All were so kind and welcoming, we couldn't have enjoyed the stay more and hope to be able to go back someday. I would HIGHLY recommend Casa Frisons

Absolutely Incredible!
Casa Frisons has it all...an absolutely stunning house (fully equipped with everything you could need or want), and a property owner that is incredibly helpful arranges what you need or points you in the right direction. The staff of the house are lovely, very friendly and accommodating. The house is spacious and well laid out (we were 2 families with 5 kids) and the views -- we saw whales every day, we trekked down to the private beach to explore (you would have to hit the tide right to swim) and spent a ton of time enjoying the pool and local beaches. Definitely rent golf carts to get around and take Biltis' recommendations on restaurants and beaches. You won't be disappointed, except of course, when you leave! We can't wait to return.

A Perfect Vacation!
Our family of 12 stayed at Casa Frisons for the most memorable vacation! The house is as spectacular as everyone says. Bilitis has created a haven-considering everything a guest could desire. Our family fit perfectly into this beautiful home. The views and pool are stellar. Bilitis graciously coordinated our excursions, which were enjoyed by all. She even provided wine and flowers for our anniversary! The house staff took great care of us. Benjamin is such a wonderful person and help. I cannot recommend Casa Frisons highly enough! Our week was unforgettable.

A perfect stay!
This beautiful house and property lives up to its five star reviews! An amazing house with room for all ten family members. The views are incredible. Bilitis was so easy to work with and booked all of our tours and transportation. Benjamin is a treasure, always there to help with a smile, and the friendly housekeepers kept the house spotless. An unforgettable week for the entire family of all ages.

Paradise Found
What can I say that hasn't already been said about this exceptional house? It really is paradise. The pool and backyard views are amazing. The house was set up perfectly for our family of 9. The kitchen has everything you could possibly want to cook with. Renting golf carts were key in order to get to restaurants and the market for groceries. Bilitis is so helpful in getting everything set up for you before your trip. She helped us reserve shuttles to/from our different locations and she set up the golf cart rental for us. We had a wonderful trip to Costa Rica!

Incredible in every way
Our family of 6 adults and 4 kids (2-1/2 to 10) spent a week at Casa Frisons. The house is spacious and beautiful. The views in every direction are simply spectacular. The staff and attention to detail were exceptional. The hands on owner, Bilitis was so helpful and available. She set up the many activities we enjoyed while in Costa Rica. The location of the property was perfect and using golf carts made it easy to get everywhere we wanted to go. If you are looking for a perfect retreat for your family or friends, this is the property for you!!

Incredible property
This house was spectacular. We hardly wanted to leave the house as the crashing waves of the ocean provided an incredible zen like backdrop for us just hanging out. The onsite team and host were exceptionally responsive and helpful, and the house was gorgeous. We loved our stay at Casa Frisons

Beautiful property and wonderful staff
Myself and 10 of my friends and family stayed here last week for my birthday girls trip! The property and views were breathtaking! The staff (everyone from the cleaning ladies to Bimini (house manager) were fantastic and super helpful! All of my girls enjoyed everything about the property. The pictures do it no justice to in person! We would all definitely stay here again!

This house is a gem. The pictures don’t even describe how beautiful it is. The views are amazing. Very well thought out modern house with everything you will need. The host was very helpful with helping us book activities. We were 9 in our group and had plenty of space.

SPECTACULAR! Book it - BEST Vrbo experience, bar none!
We've travelled quite a lot, and booked vacation rentals all over the world - Casa Frisons is the best. Absolutely loved the outdoor living space... the pool is wonderful; terrace is surreal - sunset, drink in hand; nooks with chaise to escape to read; family dinners with mountain views and twinkling lights along the beach; steep stairs down to virtually private, wild surf, beach; rock shelf jutting into the ocean, full of teaming tide pools. Lush landscaping, absolute privacy, jaw dropping ocean views and sunsets from clifftop perch. House extremely well kitted out and run like a 5-star resort. Bilitis’ staff – Benjamin (on site), Marie & co (housekeeping) and others, were extremely professional – worked away keeping house, pool, and grounds beautiful, but we were hardly aware of it all getting done – as if by magic everything was kept immaculate. Whenever we did need any help, they were responsive and accommodating. Location is outstanding... within easy reach (by golf cart) to everything we needed. Well stocked grocery stores, as well as fresh fruit vendor. We frequented the Surf Box for coffee and breakfast (hands down, best French toast in the world). Bilitis is an extremely capable host. She is proactive, organized, responsive, well connected, kind and capable – I can’t say enough good about her. She recommended and organized all of the logistics and activities - sightseeing, transportation, rentals (golf carts), and airport transfers – all reserved and in place ahead of our arrival. With a big group, it was brilliant to arrive set to go. We enjoyed every adventure – sunset catamaran cruise; hiking (Rio Celeste falls & Bijagua Ranas nature park); deep-sea fishing – saw masses of dolphins, sea turtles, rays and caught 13 yellow fin tuna; We were in great hands with Johnny our regular driver and guide. The pièce de résistance - Bilitis’ suggestion to avail ourselves of the services of brilliant local Chefs who came to the house and indulged us with wonderful meals. Casa Frisons’ dining table on the terrace, perched up high on the cliff, with views over the ocean, into the mountains, to the crescent sand beach, with the sunset giving way to brilliant stars... there was simply no better seat available in any restaurant. We have never returned to any previous Vrbo house, (although many have been spectacular), until Casa Frisons - this is a genuinely unique and spectacular place. We will return.

Escape from Reality & Family Bonding
This home exceeds expectations in every regard. From the stunning views, open floor plan, staff, to the minute details tended to by the owner, Bilitis. My wife and I, our 6 kids, significant others, and a 3-year-old grandbaby, 12 in all, spent a marvelous week. The house is designed such that everyone has their own private space, as well as capability to accommodate everyone for meals and other social activities. Being an epicurean, I was quite impressed with the vast array of kitchen accoutrements. We especially liked the power juicer for evening margaritas! You'll be well cared for by the house cleaning staff, Marie, plus grounds keeper, Benjamin. Make sure and avail yourself of Bilitis' recommendations for on-site massages, restaurants, beaches, and recreational activities. All in all, one of our favorite family vacations.
