“Excellent staff & easy checkin at a good location on the Cabot Trail. Very quiet & a great breakfast included with a great view of the ocean. Only negative is the bed & pillows need replaced.”
“Property location was perfect - beautiful beach and water view from room was lovely. Late check-in was problematic as instructions given were unclear. The door that was left open for us to access the room had a sign reading ‘please use other door’. The contact number to call was unresponsive. Had to try all doors on the property before returning to the initial door. Very confusing and frustrating.”

“We stayed overnight at this motel in Pleasant Bay. It enjoys a fantastic location surrounded by mountains, right on Cabot Trail. The grounds are lush and well-maintained, and there is an on-site restaurant, which is very convenient.
That said, the room felt quite dated. The interior is dimly lit, and there was a noticeable odour inside the room, especially strong on the bedding. Some lights were not working properly: one would not turn on, while another could not be switched off, so we had to...
“Booked and confirmed. Showed up and told no power , no water. I know it’s not the property owners fault , but absolutely no reason they couldn’t have contacted me before the 8 hour drive there , I arrived before check in and went to the office rang the doorbell and called serval times with no answer, then emailed them and a few minutes later someone came out and said my reservation was canceled. I asked why they didn’t call or email hours ago … he said everyone knew about it ? Apparently yes...
