  • Nybyggt i juli 2019 och redo att njutas. Take a Hike Cabin på The Lazy Buffalo har en King Size-säng och rullar i kaklat dusch med handikappsskenor. Den har också ett område med en bekväm kärlek och slutbord. Ladugård, knutig tall och korrugerad tenn används i hela den rymliga stugan. Mörkfärgade betonggolv och tenntak ger verkligen en rustik men elegant atmosfär. Njut av solnedgången från den långa täckta verandan medan du kopplar av i trävipporna. Vi är också glada över vårt senaste tillägg på paviljongområdet med ett picknickbord och kolgrill. Detta är en handikappvänlig stuga.

    Take a Hike Cabin skildrar det fängslande landskapet som väntar dig i Wichita-bergen. Hitta miles och miles av spår redo att upptäckas.

    Lazy Buffalo består av 4 stugor med individuellt tema. The Take a Hike Cabin är den femte dörren från vänster när man tittar på The Lazy Buffalo och under det blå taket.

Nice quiet cabin

The cabin was very nice and comfy. My lady and I had a wonderful time spending a night there. I will for sure be renting this cabin again in the future.

Property was unique! Loved the decor! The room was clean and smelled good! Loved that they had a fire pit and firewood. Didn't get a chance to use it. Will definitely stay there again!

The room was nice and clean. Me and various members of my family have stayed here multiple times and the experience has always been great and consistent. There were a couple minor oddities that weren't enough to detract from the rating (the thermostat seems inaccurate and the door having 2 knobs)

Wonderful lodging

This property is very close to the Wichita Mountains NWR which was our interest in the area. Easy access, clean, comfortable, and quiet. Cute decor. Cache is nearby with gas, ice, grocery, and dining. Management was very responsive to questions. Would most definitely recommend to others and would stay again.

The host was very welcoming, making sure our needs were met for the night. We had a short stay (as ranchers it's hard to get away), but got to explore the refuge and Medicine Park, which this location is conveniently located near. The cabin was fun, clean, and very nice. An added bonus was reading all of the materials on the wall and learning so much about the history of the park, how the bison got there, and more. Pretty safe to say that we will be back.

We needed a break...just the two of us. We saw The Lazy Buffalo online and took a chance. It was wonderful. The decor was so cute and quaint. The bed was absolutely amazing. We had the handcap room with a walk in shower, with wonderful rain head. It was just what we needed...a short getaway. We will definitely return and definitely recommend it to others.

The cabin was comfortable and spacious. It was perfect for a quiet weekend getaway. It's located at the entrance to the Wildlife Preserve and is a scenic 20 min. drive from Medicine Park. Well worth the stay!

Such a great experience

My spouse and I rented a cabin for ourselves and our two kiddos, his parents, and my parents. The games outside we wonderful. We cooked out each day and enjoyed breakfast and dinner at the picnic tables. The location was supreme: it’s near the Fort Sill museum, bath lake, Jed Johnson tower and lake trails (amazing history), and the Holy City. These were great for kids (1-5) and elderly. The cabins were super clean, wonderfully decorated, kid friendly, and cozy. We met Julie while checking in - and if you see her, you must say “hello”. She and her daughter are so friendly.

My entire family loves this place it was decorated so cute and rustic one of their favorite things was the firepit the Horseshoes and all the games available while we were waiting it was truly a pleasure to stay there and definitely will stay again thank you Julie you wrote beautiful envisionary when you and your husband created this

Great place to stay.

If you draw for the Wichita Mountain once in a lifetime elk hunt this is the best place to stay. Literally a few miles down the road from registration and check in. Not to mention it is a clean place and at a very reasonable price. They take awesome care of the place and I can’t stress enough how close you are to the refuge.
