Detta är en underbar Getaway vid vattnet för alla familjer att njuta av när som helst på året!

Ligger vid Lake Mitchell-kanalen med direkt tillgång till Lake Mitchell och Lake Cadillac. Bara 1 mil väster om Cadillac, 8 mil öster om Caberfae Ski Resort och bara 2 miles norr om M-55 nära Heart of the Manistee National Forest.

Perfekt för sommar- och vinterresa!

AkeLake Mitchell genom bakdörren för massor av fiske, båtliv, kanot, kajakpaddling, isfiske och mycket mer. Enkel åtkomst också till Lake Cadillac.

◾ Simma i vattnet från din båt eller en närliggande allmän strand.

NowSnabbmobilstigen ligger 1 mil längs vägen. Ingen slöseri med att ladda och lossa släden hela dagen. Bara rida!

◾Cadillac Snowmobile Festival strax utanför ytterdörren.

Top Notch SKIING & GOLF på Caberfae Resort (12 miles) & Crystal Mountain Resort (25 miles). (Förresten att bo på detta Lake House är mycket trevligare och billigare än något litet hotellrum!

◾ Adventure Island Amusement Park med go-carts, stötfångare båtar, vattenrutschbanor, minigolf och mer (1 miles).

◾ Pine River kanot, slang, paddelbräde, forsränning och mer (10 miles).

◾ Vandring & jakt på 1000-tal tunnland med statsland 1 mil längs vägen eftersom det ligger nära hjärtat av Manistee Forest.

◾Steelhead & laxfiske vid Tippy Dam (25 miles).

◾ORV trailhead cirka 5 till 8 mil bort.

The place was a cute little cottage. It had everything we needed and was clean. It did smell a bit musty. Opening windows helped with that, and air freshener. Contact with host was good as well.

The property is nicely located on the canal. That was the reason we rented this place with an easy access to the water. The access wasn’t as easy as we were hoping making it hard to get in and out the kayaks, etc.. The house is old and needs some fresh paint and a deep clean. The strong smell of bleach coming in was covering a musty smell. The windows were dirty, there’s was nothing on the house manual about the area, no recommandations of places to visit or restaurants to try, etc… Only a bunch of to do lists at check in and checkout time. There’s 2 grill, one charcoal attached to the deck full of old ashes that we couldn’t removed because it was chained. The second grill, a gas one, had only one burner working. Our grilling night didn’t end up the way we were hoping.. The kitchen doesn’t have much, like I couldn’t find a whisk or a wooden spatula to make eggs, there’s was only 1 wine glass, a bunch of champagne flutes and plastic cups. The communication was very business oriented with a contract needing to be signed. I never rented a place that made me feel like I was borrowing it from someone I owed to.I am very surprised about the review prior to us, maybe relatives..?

Lovely cottage

Everything you need and nothing you don't! Very nice little cottage! Comfortable and cute decor with a well stocked kitchen! Awesome communication! We appreciated the Yellow Perch!

Cabin on the river

The cabin is quaint and small but had efficient use of the space. I should have asked that the beds be made up because I did want to use the property’s linens. We had to put the linens on the beds. The home had a lot of dead insects/flys in the tub/sink and floors that we had to clean up. The driveway wasn’t shoveled but the snow was only a few inches deep. The lockbox was hard to put back. The cabin was 19miles to Caberfae where we skied. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the dining room table and well stocked kitchen with salt and pepper. We had paper towel and quite a bit of toilet paper in stock. The cabin was reasonably priced for the holiday week.

We just had a short stay, simply a place to sleep. Main bed was squeaky, the water was slimy( too soft), and the bunk beds were difficult to make. Otherwise it was fine enough.

Blue Gill was great

Perfect “weekend” getaway

My husband and our kids(2 dogs) had an amazingly wonderful time. We got to watch baby robins leave the nest in the back one morning while enjoying coffee and the peacefulness of the neighborhood. It was super windy so we weren’t able to take the kayaks out but we did get some fishing done at one of the near by parks and off the back dock. One of the rainy days we enjoyed some good ol VHS classics(the collection is top tier). Definitely will be looking to stay again in the future.

Ok Stay

House was nice, however, dont expect closets or anyplace to store your clothes except your suitcase on the floor. They need to hire a cleaning service to clean after previous renters leave. We found dirty frying pan in oven and food left in freezer. Bathroom floor needed swept and toilet was not clean. We were expected to clean house unless you paid cleaning fee when we left and I am sure it was cleaner than when we got there. Dont expect to be able to swim at this location because nothing was trimmed around channel. Had to fight weeds to put our kayaks in the water. Not really worth the price being charged.

I rented the "blue gill" for a 3 week work stint. It was exactly what I expected based upon the online description. The owener is very responsive and easy to work with. Would recommend!

Pros: - Host was responsive and quick - Big movie selection of old films to watch at night Cons: - Parts of the home were clean, others not. Yellow stains all over bed comforter and pillows, other people’s hair on pillows and couch, nightstands had not been cleaned, house smells strongly of mildew - You and your belongings will smell like mildew once you get home - No suggestions of things to do in the area
