Comfortable hotel
The hotel is centrally located I stayed 5 nights, the room was large and clean The breakfast was the best Nice, helpful and English speaking staff

Jag bor alltid på Safir hotel när jag kommer till Kairo. Läget i Dokki är perfekt, ett stenkast från trädlösa och stökiga Down Town. På ett par minuter går du till Dokki T-banestation på Tahrir Street, eller så tar du en taxi vid Mesaha Square. (undvik att ta taxi direkt utanför hotellet,pga överpriser) Poolen är mysigaste stället att äta och koppla av, på kvällarna har dom även live-underhållning i form av en oudspelare. Frukostbuffén är maximal, här hittar du verkligen ALLT! En gigantisk kall, och en lika stor varm. Bra och vänlig service

jag Rekommenderar sarkt det hotellet till vänner
Trevliga och hjälpsamma personal , Med deras leedende känndes om man med sin familj. God frukost eller mer än bara god. Badrummet bör göras rent på bättre sätt. Lite mer grönt område runt hotellet skulle behövas tex plantera träd och ta hand om de som redan finns

Centralt i Kairo
Bodde 3 nätter på Safir i en svit om två rum med egna badrum, ett större rum till oss föräldrar och ett mindre till barnen. Hotellet ligger bra till för utflykter i Kairo, nära till Egyptiska museet och hyfsat nära till pyramiderna i Giza och i Sakara. Alldeles intill hotellet finns både supermarket och några restauranger (bl.a. McDonalds och Pizza Hut), även bra restauranger på hotellet. Den inkluderade frukosten innehöll både varma och kalla rätter och hade något för alla i familjen. Fin pool på takterass. Rekommenderas!!

I am not sure if the hotel had a fitness room. Breakfast was ok. They should allow guests to get their own coffee and tea. It’s inconvenient to wait for waitresses to bring you the drinks. They were slow.

Hotel très agréable mais très bruyant
Hotel très confortable mais qui ne sert pas d'alcool. De même la présence de femmes voilées intégralement ne permet pas décemment pour les femmes de profiter de la piscine.... L'hôtel étant dans la ville, les extérieurs sont extrêmement bruyants la journée par la circulation automobile et les claxons incéssants, et la nuit des hordes de chiens aboyent environ 5 fois par nuit ...

Generally you won’t expect much in Cairo. Safir does provide a decent place for travellers and with good services. Breakfast buffet was decent and comprehensive. While it’s 3 streets away from River Nile, I would say the area is comparably good already - after all you can’t compare it will four seasons or Sofitel.

Nossa estadia foi maravilhosa. Recebemos frutas e docinhos de boas vindas. O quarto era grande, camas e travesseiros confortáveis. Excellent location and excellent staff. Buffet breakfast and dinner were very good with a great variety of healthy foods plus many desserts. We ate at the hotel every day. There is some noise from outside street car horns and barking dogs. It did not affect our sleep.

Had a great stay at the Safir, staff were great! - especially Ahmed at the front desk (who went out of his way to arrange a birthday cake for me!) and door man Mohammed, they were so welcoming, helpful and polite - they were fantastic!

The friendliness of the staff is heartwarming and being in the middle of everything with 15 to 35 minutes away from all main attractions is certainly a plus but they need to do a more renovated approach towards their room ambience and outlets.
