Good hotspring pool but old rooms
It has good interior from reception to the pool area. Even to the restaurant part but when it comes to room its quite old. It needs improvement esp the bathroom. The shower's hot water has low pressure. It is also not that clean. There is no ref or kettle available in the superior room. For its price, which is on the expensive side compared to other hotels available, it lacks a few amenities. Going to the hotel rooms, it take a lot of stairs so be prepared and i think this is not senior friendly. On the resort part, I couldn't complain much. There are 4 pools plus the fountain, so you have lot of options. You can also choose the level of temperature of the pool as it has different hotness on it. Though the pools available are not that big but it's acceptable.

Not worth the money spent
There is no water in the room sometimes, pressure fluctuating. The condition of the shower is not clean, rusty. The food served in the restaurant is quite slow.

Never again would I go to this resort
The resort on first appearance was quite good the firsts meal was ok then it started to go down hill on the second day it started with a very very poor breakfast which was over priced after breakfast I returned to my room to find house service had done a good job Only to receive a call from a friend of mine had had money stolen from his room Monday breakfast was atrocious uncooked eggs cold corned beef and half a tomato coffee and juice Hotel.com needs to send reps to these sight to experience the shambles before they put it on their site I would never recommend this resort to anyone The pools were ok nothing special

the resort is nice
my stay with my friends was fun. the place is great. the location is nice. only drawback was the weak wifi and weak mobile data connection

We are satisfied, we come back .
I like of having 5 swimming pools in the resort, you have option to choose from cold, warm, hot and very hot. I like the hot spring water, clean and clear, aside from leaves falling from the trees, but they clean it up. I like that they not put chlorine in the water and the change it everyday. I suggest to have a plain way going to dormitory or teem room, it's hard for the Seniors and PWD to climb in the stairs.

Two hours to check into the room
We arrived to the hotel and realized that they could not find the reservation. The property was fully booked. Expedia had been struggling to reach the hotel over the phone for 1,5 hrs but later the receptionists found the email or fax. No compensation offered

Great view
Our room is over looking the bay and the mountain , very quiet and relaxing, we enjoyed the million dollar view. The spring pools are great just what we are looking for. They have restaurants in the facility. The complaint I have is that they do not have elevator in our building so it's a hike going up to our room that is nestled on the top of the hill. But overall experience is great.

Not worth it, so expensive and so old.
I was so disappointed to this hotel what we paid for is not worth it. For 4k+ there should be an inclusion of breakfast, a complimentary because I inform them that it's my husbands bday when i booked. The room was terrible really because it is so old, smells old not a child-friendly one, the towels looks old too. The pool is dirty (tiles) it has so many bugs (different bugs) You should also have a nearest toilet near the pool. And please make the surroundings clean and child-friendly also. The area is so relaxing and beautiful but the facilities and maintenance thats what makes it terrible, the utility men must wear a uniform also. And also please put cctv in every area a working cctv. Please please management your resort needs and badly needs improvement!! I hope that the next time we go back there I want to see the improvements in your service, price and inclusions, facilities and maintenance and most especially ROOMS AND CCTV! (yes i want to go back but only and only if you improve!) And only then I will recommend it to my friends and relatives.

Our stay was great. Staff were all friendly and helpful. The view was beautiful and we appreciate the hot spring pools and we're able to enjoy swimming despite the cold weather.

Overall, a lovely hotel
The first thing I would like to say, is the service provided by the staff, is the best I experienced. Even the cleaning ladies will run ahead to open the door for you. Everyone morning you are greeted with a smile and nothing is too much trouble. The grounds and the reception area are great....loved the pools. The food was excellent too. The only disappointment was the room; I think we went for the premier room....it was very basic and definitely needs updating; alarm bells were ringing before I arrived when there was no hairdresser.....most good hotels provide that now. The room was kept clean but as I say...I was very disappointed and it really didn't match the rest of the hotel. The other thing to remember is that you have to go up a very steep hill to get to the hotel; the only way is by taxi or using the readily motor trikes which cost about 50 peso a day. I will definitely go back to this hotel, but I upgrade the room.

Perfect getaway near Metro Manila
It was a perfect stay - jacuzzi inside our unit, breathtaking view of Laguna lake, quality service. Wifi was weak from the unit we stayed in.

The worst nightmare you can imagine ever
I was searching hotels near Tagaytay, the Philippines and ranked the result according to the recommendations of the website, i.e. Expedia here. This hotel is listed as the top 3. I booked three rooms for two days. Then, on my way from Manila to Tagaytay, my driver told me that this hotel is so f**king away from Tagaytay. That was in the morning on the very first day when I planned to check in. I tried to make phone calls to the hotel to cancel my reservation. That happened around 11 am and according to the cancelation policy, any request made before 12 pm is entitled with a waive of charge. Unfortunately, the call didn't get through. I tried again, huh! I tried once more, boom, boom, boom. Still no luck. time passed and more than thirty calls were made, by me, my friends, local hosts, and other people. Eventually, at around 9 pm in the evening, I called Expedia. From 9 pm to 10 pm, we had call correspondence and even the customer officer could not get through to the hotel. However, she told me that within 24 hours, a phone call reply would be made to inform me the follow-ups. Well, two days later, I indeed got a reply, through an email in my mail box: Dear ****, We have advocated your case with the hotel representative, unfortunately, Sol Y Viento Pansol has denied your request for a refund. They also verified that you are tagged as a no show for your itinerary number 1************ and they will still charged for the full amount. FU*K U Sol Y hotel

Had a blast with my hubby!!! We loved the natural hot spring pool, which was open for 24hrs...
