Stayed for 1 week in June 2017, Air conditioning did not work from the moment we arrived, reported the following morning and after that Grupo turis were unable to repair it over the entire week we were there. We had to sleep in 30 degree heat with my 1 year old son being the biggest sufferer. Engineer who attended almost daily to look at the unit was incompetent and unable to fix it, it took 2 days to recharge the coolant which didn't solve the issue even though he claims to have tested it and it was working, another day for him to then say the motor was broken, this was the Thursday and we were leaving on the Saturday, the part he needed would arrive on the Monday, so no use to us. Grupo turis flipently offered alternative accommodation in the back streets of Calpe but with no offer to refund the large difference in the hire cost, but they said the AC would be fixed that day regardless so no need to move.
After a meeting with the Grupo Turis manager were were verbally abused for requesting compensation due to the issues and told "I've met people like you before" and also that "his kids (Spanish) sleep fine without AC" before storming out of the room and with not a single apology from him. Shocking customer service and we wont be booking through them again.
