Ok hotel with good parking and wifi.
Stayed for one night, which was ok. Good wifi and parking. Location great for Duxford museum. Unfortunately very warm in the room, AC not very effective. Breakfast was a disappoinment to the kids since the orange juice was out of order and they were out of yoghurt. Thus the lowered overall rating.

Hotellet ligger inom gångavstånd från flygfältet i Duxford som vi besökte för flyguppvisningarna 13-14 september 2014. Stor ritning föreställande Spitfire på väggen i matsalen! Trevlig pub, the Red Lion, ligger mycket nära.

Hade bokat fyra rum men det fanns bara två ! Så två rum fanns i en byggnad en bit därifrån, där var takhöjden två meter och taklampan satt på 1,7 m ,i duschen var det stopp i avloppet vilket jag sa till om men inget hände. Dushhöjden var 1,65 vilket medförde att man fick duscha ståede på knä. ,Personalen var dock mycket trevlig :)

Prisvärt övernattningshotell
Bra modernt hotell med frukost som ingick i detta relativt billiga hotellrum.Trevlig restaurang som var ortens pub och tillhörde hotellet.

Nice hotel close to Cambridge
New, nice and clean hotel fit for the purpose (overnight stay close to Cambridge). It is good to have a restaurant nearby but this is the only choice close by... Would recommend it for shorter stays and you need a car. Wifi not included is however something I think is "outdated", should be standard offering for any hotel.

Disappointed that we had to pay for parking. Disappointed that there were no herbal tea bag’s in the room. Disappointed that our room key wouldn’t let us back in after breakfast. Disappointed that we heard every movement and every word from the room next door.

Convenient hotel for a night stop. Next to trainline so be aware of that. Friendly staff. Quiet comfy rooms. Object to paying for parking, even with discounted rate. Great old pub next door for food.

Convenient to the imperial war museum and right next to the train station for easy access to Cambridge. The hotel is modern, clean and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Nice bar, excellent breakfast and good food available at the bar. There aren't any restaurants close by so the available food offerings at the bar were very appreciated. My room was huge and comfortable and even thought it's right next to the train station you can't hear a thing. Would stay again!

We had a nice stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable and linen good quality. We were disappointed as the pub cross the road from the hotel shut on a Sunday at 6 pm so we had to eat at the hotel. Downside was the selection was limited. But the food we ordered was good. Was not amused at having to pay 7.50 to park our vehicle in the car park. After all we were guests in the hotel and I believe there should not be a charge for parking ☹️

We got a great price booking through Hotels.com, the staff were very friendly, the room was clean, tge bed comfy. Tge free brekkie was perfectly adequate with many choices. Really enjoyed our stay & would stay again.

It was a positive experience overall. The staff were competent and friendly. The hotel was clean and generally comfortable. But the bed was too soft for my taste, and I didn't find it comfortable.

Convenient location but could be better
Disappointed having to pay 7,50£ for parking, the room was booked last minute, they gave us an accessible room, so the shower was not really comfortable, the hotel overall didn't seem very clean and there was a strange stink at the entrance and in the room. Breakfast is very basic not a huge selection. Not good value for money, just chosed because half way between Cambridge and Stansted.

Beware - unexpected charge for car parking of £7.50 per night. I am a blue badge holder and parked in a disabled bay but still had to pay, the only place I have ever encountered that charges for disabled. It was particularly annoying and disappointing being totally unexpected, if it is mentioned on Holiday Inn website it is well hidden, could that be deliberate? Room and food were as expected and fine but this has left such a sour taste that I will not use Holiday Inn again.
