Co-op and Tesco Express on Histon High Street are both well-stocked local shops. Nearest supermarkets are Tesco in Milton, or Aldi on Histon Road, Cambridge.

Local Restaurants
There are a lot of pubs in Histon and Impington, all of which have their own character and serve food. Most have outdoor garden seating. In order of distance from the flat: The Rose & Crown, Glebe Way - Traditional pub food, good Sunday roast. The Barley Mow, High Street - Traditional pub food and Thai food. The Boot, High Street - Two different characters - the cosy traditional front bar and the restaurant wing. The Red Lion, High Street - Great selection of beers including local ales, cosy traditional atmosphere. The Railway Vue, Station Road - Next to the Busway. Good steak, and reasonable selection of beers. Restaurants: Histon Smokehouse serves a barbecue style menu, but check their opening hours. The Indian Ocean is a very pleasant Indian restaurant. The Histon Village Fryer on Station Road is an excellent takeaway for both fish & chips and chinese food. There are a wide range of excellent restaurants, pubs and bars in Cambridge and other surrounding villages.

Local Attractions
Homefield Park right outside the door of the flat is very pleasant for some fresh air and birdsong. Histon village green has a duckpond and children's playground. Cambridge is a short drive, bus or cycle away.

Trains
Nearest train station: Cambridge North, 15-20 min cycle or 10 min taxi ride.Cambridge station is a bit further, around 20-30mins by taxi, allow extra time for traffic at peak times.

Buses
Bus stops on Hereward Close or Station Road. Number 8 goes to central Cambridge.The guided busway to central Cambridge is 10-15 min walk down Station Road.Nearest Voi cycle hire: near end of Station Road, go across Homefield Park and over the main road.

The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.

Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
