Good, comfy beds, clean!
Good and comfy beds! Clean room on upper floor in old, charming house. Nice and quiet. Your own bathroom. Roof window that you can open. Nice view. Pizzeria nearby that delievers to the hotel.

Value for money
Basic accommodation at a really good price close to Cambridge. Everything simple but nothing much to complain about - bed a bit quirky, perhaps, but comfortable enough to sleep in. Breakfast is better than you would expect for the price. This is my third or fourth time. If you have a bike you can just as well stay here and save your money when you visit the university. There is a bus outside but beware of the slow morning traffic.

Smutsigt hotell i naturskön omgivning
Hotellet var i dåligt skick, städningen undermålig och någon direkt service kunde vi inte upptäcka. Undrade man över någonting fick man själv leta efter någon personal. Huvudstöden till sängarna var smutsiga, fåtöljerna i gemensamma utrymmen likaså. Det var dammigt överallt förutom på bänken där frukosten dukades upp. Den s.k. TV:n på rummet var en skärm där bilden ofta inte gick att urskilja. Frukosten var dock god och näringsrik.

Värde för pengarna!
Första intrycket var iofs lite Pang i bygget, men det tog sig. Bakom hotellägarens coola för att inte säga lätt nonchalanta fasad dolde sig en genuint vänlig och hjälpsam man. Frukosten var mycket bra, delvis åt medelhavshållet till men verkligen helt OK. Delbetygen blir kanske inte så höga men helhetsbetyget ändå en fyra, eftersom priset är så lågt. Ett mycket personligt familjehotell som verkligen ger värde för pengarna! /Svante

A budget hotel in a beautiful area
The hotel is a budget one and you get what you paid for. The furniture is old, the whole buildning is an old one and you might wish a renewal in some parts. The area is a nice exempel of the english countryside and the people is friendly and helpfull. Connections to trains and buses are kind of lacking, 20-30 minutes to the nearest train station and a bus passing every 30 to 60 minutes depending on the day. My conclusion being: if you want a cheap hotel to sleep after a day off and you don't mind the lack of comodities or the overall shape, go for it.

OK value for money
Bed was comfy - compared to how British beds could sometimes be. Breakfast better than expected! Bathroom in the corridor - well, functional but low water pressure in showers. I know the area and have a bike, the ride into Cambridge is fine and takes 20-30 minutes. The bus is no good option during rush hours! After that it is fast enough. The place is calm and you can sleep well.

Man får vad man betalar för.
Hotellet var beläget en bit från Cambridge centrum, men busförbindelserna var ganska bra. Hotellrummet var ganska tyst och inga problem att sova. Det gemensamma duschrummet och toaletten borde städas lite oftare. Frukosten fullt ok. Summering prisvärt om man kan leva med lägre standard.

Fint och trevligt
Utmärkt hotell i en lugn villaförort till Cambridge. Snyggt och fint på hotellet och god frukost. Hotellet stämde överens med beskrivningen. Det enda att anmärka på var att Internet (Wi-Fi) inte alltid fungerade. Oväntat billigt för så god betjäning.

Mysigt men dålig service
Det stod 4 km från Cambridge men tog ca 30 min med buss från Cambridge centrum. Vi fick aldrig se de anställda även om vi ringde på mer än en gång och till och med letade efter dem. Rummet var hyfsat rent och ganska bekvämt. Tyvärr fungerade spolningen på den ena toaletten väldigt illa samt att rengöringen på toaletterna skedde ganska sällan. Området var mysigt och nära till busstopp. Ett väldigt gulligt hotell dock dålig service.

This hotel is an absolute disgrace, it is in a terrible run down neglected state. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Basic but very friendly and helpful, everything you need and more. Free serve yourself breakfast from wide, healthy range provided, with kettles toasters, fridge and microwave available for use. Teas/coffee can be made any time. Iron and hair dryer available to borrow. Ample free parking. Very well located for Papworth and Addenbrookes. Excellent eateries nearby. Excellent value.

It was supposed to be a deluxe room . I would hate to think what the other rooms were like. No facilities at the lodge.Breakfast included consisted of two loaves of bread and a toaster. Absolute rubbish place to stay . More like a hostel . Paid for two nights stayed one as could not face staying another night.

Stayed here for work and upon checkin the phone numbers did not work and the rooms were quite dirty. Looked under the mattresses and found some dreaded bed bugs. Expedia helped us find a replacement hotel but this spot would not give us a refund and had no one we could even talk to. After supplying them with images of the bed bugs they said we made it up and this is another hotel yet the geo info shows very clearly this is their hotel yet they still would not with with us. I would stay away from this spot and find something different at all costs.

It was very basic was more like a hostel than a hotel. Continental breakfast consisted of cereal and a slice of toast that you had to help yourself to.

Booked in online and was met by a lovely lady. We could have as much Tea and Coffee as we wanted available in the breakfast room. Room was warm clean and tidy. We just needed a bed for the night and you pay for what you get. Breakfast was toast, cereal and cold Buffet.

I stay here most weeks. I like it. It’s good value for money and relatively close to work. It’s clean and I can always make a brew when I finish work. Internet is not fast but at least it always works!

I was expecting an English country Lodge. Difficult to find the entrance as it's not well lit. The parking at the back is unlit and somewhat uneven. There was a guy smoking pot at the door to reception. The smell was quite distinct. The advertised Lift does not work. We had 4 suitcases ranging from 18-24 kg and the rooms were upstairs. If the room door is open,you can't open the toilet door and vice versa because they open into each other. The bed fills the room and no way to get in from the other side. Bed is very creaky and one person climbing over another to get to the side close to the wall makes a hell of a racket.Toilet is placed in such a way that you have to sit sideways to avoid knees hitting the shower door and then the knees are under the tiny washbasin.We didn't have a shower as there is no space except for a very small person.so don't know if the shower works.
