Hemos estado este verano con la familia y todo ha sido genial, los exteriores son espectaculares, 2 piscinas, un jacuzzi y mucha tranquilidad. Los niños han disfrutado mucho y el apartamento muy bonito, con todo lo necesario para la estancia y muy limpio y nuevo. Ha sido una desconexión total y lo hemos disfrutado mucho. Para repetir!!!

Quiet, well equipped and wonderful pools. Wonderful.

Enrique as a host was fantastic and he was on hand for any advice or problem solving. He arranged a taxi from the airport and gave good advice on bus routes as well as being a welcoming host on arrival. The bikes were a real bonus and we used them most days for trips to the beach or to Cambrils. Excellent apartment, no problems at all and highly recommended!

My wife and I stayed for three weeks with our 4 and 6 year old girls. We have family in the area so our trip goals were probably different from those of past guests. The apartment was clean and everything was in good order. The apartment is well run and Enrique was helpful. The only noteworthy issue we had was the mattress in the master bedroom, which wasn't very supportive and made it harder to sleep. Not a small deal for us, but this is more of a personal preference thing.

Perfect accommodation in Cambrils

This property is highly recommended. Nice quiet location , with pools and access to supermarket, beach the coastline. The owner communicated well with us, met us at the property and gave us a warm welcome, including cake! Perfect location 10 mins drive to Portaventura. We loved the accommodation clean and maintained. The bikes came in very useful for going into Cambrils. We were very sad to leave.

Fabulous apartment, wonderful host

We stayed 5 nights in August, 4 adults and 2 kids. Apartment was perfect, very clean, comfortable and spacious. Pools open til late which was perfect after a long and hot day in Barcelona. I would recommend a car, we used taxi's most of the time as apart from the supermarket we found everything just a little too far to walk in the heat. Typical taxi to the beach was 10 euros and 20 to Salou centre which for 6 people isn't too bad. Only suggestion would be for washing up liquid and a hand soap in the bathrooms to be provided. But overall a fantastic break

This property is simply perfect for families of all ages, highly recommended!

We are two adults in our 50s, one 18 year old and one 14 year old. It's on a complex of apartments with a couple of swimming pools in the middle with private access. It's quiet with a lovely overlooking balcony. Lots of kids playing with secure access for safety. There's a couple of small local cafe bars within 5-10 minutes walking distance and a supermarket a further 5 minutes away. We had a car as we were travelling to Barcelona and Port Adventura, which is a 10 minute drive away. You've got your own underground parking space and 4-5 push bikes at your disposal which is great if you want to explore on two wheels. If you're feeling adventurous you can explore the area and down to the beach 15-20 minutes away. The apartment is clean, spacious with everything you could need for a great stay-we we were here 10 days and didn't want to leave!! Enrique and family are a brilliant family who will do anything they can to help. It's on the second floor with stairs and a quick lift. We have no criticisms whatsoever and only had a couple of observations to make the place even better.; firstly there are numerous maps and guides in the property but it would be better if there could be a bit more local information put in a folder to browse through- that said we never struggled to find things to do and places to go. Secondly, there would be a benefit to having a full length mirror somewhere for those of you getting ready to go out and lastly, sometimes in a morning you could hear dogs barking in distant apartment blocks, I presume these digs were left on the verandas by owners going to work. The sound proofing in the flat is excellent so they don't really cause a problem. We would certainly have no hesitation returning here if our kids don't get too old to think it's cool coming on holiday with us!!! Steve Brookes & family, Rotherham UK.

Nice apartment, but not posh!

What sold this apartment to me was the bikes, having two teenage children. This proved to be a good idea, as our son in particular loved being able to be more independent if he wanted to be. When we first used the bikes, they were not in very good condition but I emailed Enrique one morning and he came the same day to try to fix them, even bringing us one bike from his home. Great service. We really enjoyed using the cycle paths between the apartment, Salou & Cambrils although it was a shame it was "uphill" going home! From previous reviews, I was looking forward to a home-made cake upon arrival but there was nothing in the apartment for us so it's a good job we went shopping on the way! From the photos, I thought the apartment was going to be quite posh but it wasn't, although it was quite homely. It had pretty much everything we needed, although we found the kitchen very small. There was wi-fi which would have been perfectly adequate for me and my husband, but the teenagers were unhappy with it! It was lovely to sit on the balcony each morning to eat breakfast. Our half-term was late this year so we arrived at the end of October. We were really lucky with the weather - every day was warm and every day was sunny except the last day, which was just overcast. Everywhere was quite quiet which suited us fine. There were still plenty of places to eat and of course the supermarkets were open. We didn't use the local one at all but the big Esclat supermarket, next to the smaller Lidl, was great and less than a 5 minute drive (cheap petrol too) but we preferred the Aldi near Cambrils - it was always quiet & did lovely fresh bread. The kids used the pool on the first day but unsurprisingly, it was a bit cold at this time of year - I was impressed they went in at all! Personally,I think you need a car if you stay at this apartment although I can see from the reviews that many people haven't had one. Perhaps because we were in the off-season, I hardly saw any buses and if you have younger children, you couldn't use the bikes. The beach would be a good 20 minute walk & Salou and Cambrils about 45-50 minutes each way. We paid about £380 for a week which would be more now the exchange rate has worsened. That's fine but I personally do not think this apartment is worth over £1000 in high season. A note to anyone coming at the same time of year - avoid Port Aventura on Halloween - it was madness and the queues were ridiculous!

Fantastic apartment in a quiet residential area

We had a fantastic 2 week holiday at this apartment in Vilafortuny. The area is quiet, which was good for us, but with easy access to Salou and Cambrils.The bikes came in very handy and we used them most evenings to try out the many restaurants. The property had everything that we needed and so we settled in very quickly. It was also spotlessly clean and the air con worked a treat. The owners, Enrique and Maria, went out of their way to be helpful, answering questions beforehand and giving us a lift from the bus stop to the apartment as well as explaining the apartment, area and other places of interest further afield. They also left us a welcome treat of cakes and drinks, which was much appreciated (especially by our two children!). All in all we had a fantastic time and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment to others.

perfect property in a lovely quiet location.

I would highly recommend this lovely, spotless clean apartment. It had everything we needed for our stay and the air conditioning made it very comfortable on hot days and nights. The apartment is in a lovely quiet location with Salou and Cambrills a short walk and bus/taxi ride away. The owner was extremely helpful and easy to get on touch with at any time. He even picked us up at 1.30 am from our bus drop off point to take us to the apartment.

A fantastic property which was extremely comfortable & relaxing in a beautiful area.

My husband, 3 children & I have just arrived back fron a week spent in this apartment. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay which was enhanced by meeting Maria, the owner. She was friendly & helpful & put us at our ease. The apartment is like a home away from home. It is clean & spacious & the kitchen is suitable for colking full meals if one so wishes. There is a Sky box & we were able to use our own Sky card which was nice for ourselves & the children. We didnt hire a car as we enjoy plenty walking on holidays but perhaps car rental would be an advantage. Enrique & Marias accommodation comes with the use of biles for all the family. This is certainly helpful for getting around. The nearest supermarket is a 5 minute walk from the apartment. The nearest restaurant/bar is about the same. But there are many other bars& restaurants in Vilafortuny which is about a 15min walk from the apartment. I recommend this apartment highly to anyone looking for relaxation & tranquility in a beautiful location.

Lovely accommodation, safe, family friendly environment. Everything you could possibly need is provided in the apartment including bicycles! Enrique and his wife were so helpful and couldn't possibly have done anything more to be of help their guests. Highly recommended!!

Perfect Holiday Home

Have just spent two weeks here with my son and two grandsons aged 9 and 10 and I could not have picked a better holiday for us all for our first holiday in this area. The apartment is so comfortable with plenty of room for six and it was perfect for us. It was lovely to have the sunny balcony in the morning while I waited for everyone to surface. The kitchen was well equipped and we did breakfasts, some lunches and two evening meals there – it was great to find seasonings, sugar, oils and basics including cling film and foil in the cupboard. Everyone loved the pools and we also used the bikes in the garage below. The area is great for cycle lanes and I was pleased to find that the ‘hills’ mentioned in a previous report were either very short (a bridge) or were just slight inclines of not too far. That is the journey to the sea front – if you go over to Cap Salou there are hills everywhere you turn and I was so pleased we were not based there. There are two supermarkets, one just five minutes away had all the basics; the other one is under a mile (easy on a bike) and mega big. Down to the beach was, for me, a 10 to 15 minute walk and if we were not taking the bikes we tended to get the bus using the prepaid tickets (€1.20 each) for wherever we wanted to go. It was lovely to return to the gardens and our apartment at the end of the day – the beds were really comfortable and using the blinds would stop you being woken by the sunshine too early in the morning. I had the en suite room (small shower was really good), the main bathroom had more room of course and we never ran out of hot water - everyone happy. I have stayed in many apartments in different countries and this one is one of the best ever. I stopped going anywhere more than once many years ago but am thinking of returning to this apartment for a holiday with daughter and family next year. If you are looking for somewhere super clean, extremely comfortable with lovely pools that you can use (unlike some of the hotels we heard about), and a little way from the non-stop hullabaloo – book here with confidence, relax and have a fantastic time. Beautiful apartment and complex, RECOMMENDED!!

Well, first what a great guy Enrique is! He sorted taxis from the airport, everything was simple via email, and we arrived to find a lovely big baked apple flan/cake and wine! Enrique made sure we had a full tour of everything in the apartment and the garage area underground before he left us to it. The apartment itself is lovely and big, very clean, and full of canvases, furniture and books etc, makes it feel like a home from home. Great balcony to sit outside and eat or just watch the pools. Comfy beds, en suite for the master bedroom, and a posh family bathroom too. Kitchen has everything you'll need, oven, microwave, fridge freer, and all the cutlery and dish ware you can think of. Perfect! The apartment complex is lovely and well maintained, and in a quiet location away from the tourist area. It's mostly Spanish, mostly people living there from what we could tell, but all very friendly. The 4 teenagers with us made loads of Spanish and Dutch friends and had a great time! Local (meaning cheap!) well stocked supermarket is a 5 minute walk. Down to Cambrils and LOADS of eating places is about a 20 minute walk, fairly hilly so be warned, but we chose this apartment as we love going for walks and getting some exercise, so it was perfect for us. To get to Salou walking is about 30 minutes, we actually walked to the other end of Salou a few times which is a good few miles, but the beach and promenade is beautiful, lovely golden sands, no crowds of drunken teenagers/adults, it's a real family area. We love it here, been to this complex twice and Salou 4 times, and we would recommend it to anyone who wants peace and quiet, a seriously good relax, but also a short walk away good food, beautiful sea, water parks, theme park and much more. Try the banana boat, you'll love it!!! Thanks Enrique, you're a top bloke, and your apartment is lovely!!

Wonderful Apartment

The apartment is lovely, very big and spacious with 3 large sized bedrooms, a very well equipped kitchen, lovely big lounge and a large balcony with a patio table that seats 6 people. The apartment is air conditioned which was a great relief in the hot weather. The complex is beautiful, very modern and clean with 2 big swimming pools and a small children's pool and also a children's play park. Our children loved to go in the pool every morning. The apartment is in a quiet part of the town but very close to the busy centre of Cambrils and the town of Salou, we often got a taxi from the nearby taxi rank or sometimes we walked into Cambrils along the beach front. The beaches are beautiful and very clean and have lots of children's play parks nearby. Both Cambrils and Salou had lots of shops, restaurants and bars. Enrique and his wife were very welcoming, upon our arrival his wife had made a beautiful apple cake. They are lovely people and so helpful - Enrique even gave us a lift to Salou train station one morning so that we could catch the train to Barcelona for the day. Enrique organised a taxi to take us back to the airport and came to say goodbye to us on our last day. We very much enjoyed our 10 days in this apartment and we were very sad to leave!

Fantastic, Homely, Great value for money!

Just back from our second year staying in this lovely apartment, the apartment is packed with all the homely amenities you would ever need on holidays! Dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, toaster, toasted sandwich maker and very large fridge. The apartment has 3 large bedrooms and 2 large bathrooms, The WiFi is very fast and accessible in all areas of the apartment, The TV is very modern with a DVD player and a SkyBox, bring your 'SkyCard'! The main balcony has seating for 6, and great views of the well maintained grounds of the complex, the complex includes 2 large pools which are cleaned on a regular basis, The apartment itself is well situated, inbetween Salou and Cambrills, 2 minuet walk from Taxi rank, €12 to Salou and €35 to Reus Airport, there is a supermarket walking distance from the apartment and is very reasonably priced! Cycling and walking trails can bring you down the beachfront to Cambrils and Salou! Local bars and restaurants worth visiting include: Pure Genius Bar, Molly Malones, The Muckey Duck and O' Driscols, Overall a fantastic holiday destination, well worth a visit, we will certainly be back again!

5/5!! Great apartment!

We are a family of 4 who had never been to Spain prior to our stay at Enrique's apartment! We would thoroughly recommend Enrique's apartment due to it's location, friendly atmosphere and the the level of service we received from Enrique and his wife during our stay. Nothing was ever a problem even when the microwave oven had to be replaced at short notice! Overall, we would quite happily stay again in this apartment and we thank Enrique for playing a part in making our holiday very special!!

Fantastic Apartment

We stayed at this apartment for one week. There were two adults and two teenage boys. Enrique was fantastic, he collected us from our hotel where we spent our first week and drove us to the apartment where Pilar was waiting and she had baked us a beautiful apple cake and left us two bottles of wine chilling in the fridge. The standard of the apartment was first class in our opinion, everything you would need for self catering, very clean and well presented. There were bikes, rackets, balls etc for use if you wanted to do so. We used the bikes. The apartment was in a quite residential area and was 20 min approx. from the beach, it was also a beautiful walk into Salou or Cambril which we did every night. There were also buses running which was a 20 min walk to the nearest stop however we chose to walk(teenagers not so keen but they did it). There was a supermarket nearby for shopping. We only used the restaurant on the corner once on the night we came home, however we found the food to be bland and uninspiring however it did the trick before our flights. Finally Enrique collected us from his apartment and took us to the airport. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found Enrique and Pilar very hospitable. Thank You. The twin beds were more suitable for children.One of our boys is over 6' so found the bed a little too short for him.

I have to say this apartment was exactly as described a perfect apartment for a young family. everything you need is included plenty of bedding and towels. The kitchen was equipped with everything you could need. Beach was lovely about fifteen minutes away a lovely walk. Salou is a bus ride away and well worth a vist. Enrique was a great help even gave us lifts at times when we were cheeky enough to ask. Would recommend this to anyone.

Great apartment in super location

Enrique and Pilar were very helpful and thought of everything to make it very easy to settle in. The apartment was lovely - very well maintained and had everything you could want. It is very close to the beaches at Vila Fortuny - an easy walk or bike ride and by car, Cambrils and Salou are just minutes away. It is also a great location for visits to Reus, Taragona and Porta Ventura. We would love to stay again.

Excellent Property.

Enrique was very pleasant and his property was simply great. Every thing was just right, he thought of everything. He and his partner made a lovely cake and he made sure the kids were happy. We would love to stay at this property again and would recommend it to others.

Super Apartment

Highly recommended - Superb apartment - spotless , spacious and well equipped with everything you would ever need. Apartment is in a private, well kept development including pools - beach if preferred is only a short 15min walk ( 5min drive but parking on sea front was a nightmare in Aug !) Private underground parking and the 3 bicycles proved to be very useful . Very close to REUS airport 10-15mins max. local supermarket + some restaurants only 5-10 mins walk . This apartment is in a quiet residential part of Cambrils so would suit families looking to be away from the bustle of the sea front but still close enough to walk if desired . Enrique, the owner , was friendly and helpful. I would thoroughly recommend this apartment

Best holiday accommodation ever.

Hi Enrique, From the moment we arrived at your fantastic three bedroom apartment we knew we had made the right choice. Your welcome pack of home made sweet cake, essential groceries and not forgetting the drinks for the kidas as well as the wine and beer. The accommodation was spotless, had everything you could possibly want and the location was great. The swimming pools were second to none. You even provided us with bicycles. Thank you so much for bringing us to the airport the day we were going home. Even though we spent 15 days there we still did not have long enough. We did not hire a car and we managed fine without one. We had a really fantastic holiday mainly due to the excellent accommodation we had. If we can afford to go back on another holiday we will only go to your place. Many thanks from the Kelly Family, Ireland.
