“Me and my husband stayed in a cottage for two during one night on our way to Yosemite National Park. We had a bit of trouble finding the hotel (despite GPS) as the sign to Lazy Z was located directly in the left-turn. Placing the sign earlier on the road would have been appreciated. The cottage was really cosy and clean. We had our own patio with a barbecue. The wi-fi did not reach our cottage, but we could access it from the main/pool area. “Just beautiful. So peaceful and relaxing. We didn’t see another person although we were in a gated community. Only heard the birds. The cabin warms up easily with propane fireplace. Stayed with my sister and was comfortable and could see a small family being so as well. Recommend: take the drive to Yosemite. We also enjoyed a paddle boat trip around Lake Pinecrest. Stop at Walmart in Sonora before driving out to cabin. Get gas anywhere but the Chevron before you turn into housing addition. Be...

“We had a change of plans for our road trip and found this delightful B and B at the last minute. We were very pleasantly surprised; the property is beautiful architecturally, the hosts were really gracious and welcoming, and the breakfasts were wonderful. Murphy's is a little foodie haven with a bunch of local cellar doors open to the public, and historic goldrush era buildings in the surrounding villages.
