Casa Turquesa Cancun - förskräckligt hotell
Detta hotell var absolut det mest gräsliga ställe vi bott på. Först fick vi inte det rum vi betalt för, när vi sedan fick detta var det ett rum som knappt gick att bo i. Det var så smutsigt att man inte kunde gå barfota, låset till terassen var trasigt, möbler var trasiga, brandvarnare saknades, inget varmvatten och minimalt tryck i duschen, gamla hår och smuts i avloppen, hot tub på terassen helt ingrodd med smuts, otrevlig ägare/chef, hissen trasig, inga galgar i garderoben, inga tandborstglas, poolbar stängd. Detta hotell borde inte säljas till någon. Det är rent bedrägeri att lura folk att boka här.

Hotel of hell
Detta hotel gjorde vår resa till ett rent helvette! Vi blev utkastade mitt i natten och även fast vi hade betalat för 3 dagar till fick vi inte stanna kvar på hotellet. Anledningen var för att vi ville ta in gäster på rummet. Mustafa som är någon form av chef där gav order till all sin personal att inte låta någon av oss komma in igen. Detta ledde till att vi fick checka in på ett nytt hotell mitt i natten!!! DO NOOOOT BOOK THIS HOTEL

bra hotell
bra hotell, frukost personalen super trevliga gubbar som har mkt bra mat . fin strand (bättre än pdc) minus för wifi pris (ca 120kr per dag) minus för man inte få låna paraplyn utanför hotellet även om det ös regnar och man ska vara borta 10 min.

ホテルの設備は古いですが、部屋は広く海にもプールにも直ぐでこの値段にしては最高なホテルでした。ホテルのスタッフは気さくで、色々聞いてもらえました。ハネムーンで来るにはちょっと物足りないですが、友達でワイワイする分には問題ありません。値段の割に最高です！ただし、エレベーターは壊れて使えないので、大きな荷物も手で運ぶしかないです。

The hotel has a nice view but has had its best days in the past. Property was clean but very dated. Very low staff. The staff there was present was helpful and nice. Limited menu options.

Beautiful stylish property with artwork everywhere. Spacious clean rooms. Friendly staff especially the front desk man who checked us in. Steps to beach and grocery store 5 min walk away. Property needs a bit of a update but for the price excellent value. Beds werent great but we will stay again!

If your looking for a calm and quiet place, go to this hotel! Also a very nice spot! Beach is not crowded compare to other hotel. The only problem with the property is a bit outdated. Its very nice in the lobby area, i love the paintings and the classic look! It reminds of the 90's! I hope the owner would do some renovations on the hotel, hotel employees are nice and friendly, also they have a restaurant that is beachfront! The menu is okay. You have enough options to choose. Walking distance to luxury mall, grocery store (Soriana) also walking distance to restaurants! Property is in Hotel zone. Highly recommended for everyone who wants a quiet place to relax. Also if your not picky ull be okay!

It's like staying in a museum - paintings and sculptures everywhere - with the plus of a good restaurant onsite and good location relative to Cancun shops. The furnishings are dated, and there are no appliances in the room (no fridge, no coffee-maker, no microwave), but we enjoyed our meals at the small onsite restaurant and considered the rest to be part of the old-world ambience of the hotel, a big contrast to the mammoth Royal Sands next door (and BTW, we've been Royal Resorts owners for 20 years, so we're very familiar with the Sands.) Very pleasant staff, too. We'll be back.

Pros: Room was large. Great view of pool and ocean. Nice beach area. Nice location. The art and sculptures were interesting. The people that work there were great. Built in 1991, this property has some great potential to be what it once was with a little work and some dollars invested. Cons: ALL hot tubs on patios in the rooms do not work. Elevator seldom works forcing us to walk flights of stairs every time we left the room. Patio had broken deck boards with holes. No microwave. No kitchenette. Small freezer in small refrigerator. No ice access or ice machine. Mini split a/c unit leaked every day leaving puddles on the floor by the exit door and in our hallway. Sometimes no hot water for showers. No working hot tub on premises. Small pool. Walking down the driveway has concrete tiles that are coming out, uneven and dangerous. Tennis court is run down and cannot be used. Beds are rock hard. Paint is peeling throughout the whole property. Advertised photos of the property were taken in 2015 and not a close representation of the property today. Does not have a 24 hour service desk. They only provide you with one key per room. Pretty much a self service hotel.

This place was beautiful with my 11 year old daughter. We felt safe and it was near many resturants and things to do. We also took the bus around the hotel zone for 12 pesos. The mall has a great grocery store and beautiful restaurants across the street . I recommend the Italian and Greek for a fun evening experience. The place is relaxing and not busy like downtown. The beach is beautiful and there is a lifeguard down on the beach . ⛱️ This is like a boutique hotel and the staff really were accommodating, just ask they will help you with whatever you need.

Property needs an input of cash to bring it up to decent standards. Hot water and water pressure was bad, no coffee machines in room. Springs in bed mattress were coming through material creating awful sleeping. All lounge chairs, pool and beach, need replacing, probably 20 plus years old, very uncomfortable. Staff wanted Identification for replacing beach towels each time, really??

This beachfront hotel is well located and has a different vibe than surrounding all-inclusive resorts (which is a good thing as far as we're concerned). The pool and view are really nice, the restaurant food is good and the staff is super friendly. This hotel must have been incredible in the 70s and the property has tremendous potential, but it desperately needs renovation. The room we had was spacious but depressing with awful furniture and very little natural light (rather neon lights) - it absolutely did not look like the pictures we saw on Expedia. The pool furniture also needs to be updated. We enjoyed our one-night stay but we wouldn't go back.

We stayed six nights. The people at this hotel are absolutely wonderful, and wanted to mention Rual specifically. As per the other reviews this an old hotel that needs lots of improvments but can be an amazing place. They are working on improving. We enjoyed the small size of the hotel. Its very quiet, private beach and all of the art inside the hotel is really neat. When we arrived our ac didnt work and they were on top of it right away to get it fixed and switched us into a nicer room. Its close to alot of central shopping and dining. Bed are kinda hard, towels need replaced but the point of staying here is not for luxury. Dont go here if you are looking for a luxury experience. I highy reccomend if you wanted a small quiet hotel and dont care about it needing improments. Overall its a great place to stay and I would return.

Property location is 10/10 on the hotel zone except be prepared to walk up a steep grade each time coming and going. If you have stroller or limited mobility. The mall beside has a grocery store and the isla shopping centre is not far. Compared to the cost of the big hotels on the beach it is good for a short stay. The room is rustic.

The property itself was beautiful and right on the beach which was nice. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The hotel itself was a ghost town though and trying to get a drink was near impossible you had to search for staff and then once you found someone and told them your order it took them a long time to come back so we started getting 4 at once. A nice place if you want very quiet and relaxing but me and my boyfriend are in our early 30s and would have preferred a bit of an atmosphere. We only stayed 1 night before our flight home, wouldn’t stay longer

The staff was wonderful. Very friendly and warm and welcoming, almost like bring with family. I also really liked the style and architecture of the building--it showed an old world charm with all the marble and statues, however, the building was not properly maintained. From wobbly bannisters, a broken elevator, power outages, a tub without a faucet but with hard water stains and rust, and A/C that stop working, sliding glass doors (on the ground floor) that were also broken, loose cobblestones on the drive/entryway, that this hotel did not make for a comfortable stay.

Pros: Great location on the strip, friendly service, big rooms with tv in english language, great A/C, big mini-fridge, clean beach and pool area. Cons: property is outdated, old, thin towels, no bottled water given, old lounge chairs at beach, jacuzzi in rooms are not usable. Hotel is recommended if you can get a great price and not mind the cons. Manuel, Eduardo, Ramon, and our cleaning lady provided excellent

I liked that boutique-style hotel with its pieces of art, baby grand pianos, vintage staircase and airy lobby with the women’s statues, arching, stretching and bathing in the sun, and Frida’s huge portrait haughtily looking at all guests that come and go. That mixture of styles is liberating. The location is perfect – on the front line, a small private beach with sunbeds and umbrellas, and the ocean - all possible hues of blue, it breathes day and night, and its waves are caressing one day and the other get harsh and slap you, knock you off your feet and drag you far from the shore to the Mer-people lurking in the ocean’s depth. It’s mesmerizing and lets you feel that you are on vacation. What I did not like is that when I booked the hotel on Expedia, it clearly stated that breakfast was included, but when I arrived, it turned out it was not. I decided to have breakfast in the hotel anyway as the rotunda where they serve it is perfectly located and gives you the ocean view, and you can see the seagulls and, if lucky, a giant lizard too, and it saves the hustle on where to go and eat. However, the service is not good. They have a few customers, are not in a hurry, do not clean tables properly, and in the morning you can see the food crumbs left from the previous day and it takes a long time to place the order and then more than 20 minutes to get your food. Still, the location of the hotel and how it’s designed are good and outweigh the other shortcomings.

Pros: Views, staff are good honest people, paintings in many of the spaces. Cons: HUGE cost for key replacements which will get lost in cabs or if you accidentally swim with them or in the sand. We as customers want key cards or keyless safes. Tubs don’t hold water and echo the leak noise. Hot water works less than half the day (at least on the upper floors). Stucco cracking and caulking all dried and poorly done. Decks are weathered with broken boards. None of the tubs work outside and are eye sores. The mattresses are old spring mattresses on stucco platforms. Did I mention the fact that they make money off you losing keys? My stay was nearly 20 percent more because of a safe and door key replacement . I will never return.
