“Amazing views and the host offered me great insight into the area and history of Jamaica and Kingston It is NOT close to the actual city. I would NOT use a rental car to commute there. Use a cab or Uber only. It costs about 10-15 dollars (US) each way to the Half Tree area and a little more for other popular sites. It was clean and I felt safe the whole time”

“Everything’s exceeded our expectations. The rooms were very spacious and the bathrooms were upgraded. The bed and linen comfortable and soft and the staff were amazing. That Jamaican breakfast was awesome and the servings ample. Everybody should try those chili wings on the lunch menu - simply dynamite.”

“If you are thinking about staying here, don’t think about it too much JUST BOOK! It has absolutely everything you possibly need. Nearby to good restaurants, clubs, supermarkets, gas stations etc. Debbie and Kevin are such a great host... she has a lot of patience to explain everything you need to know, she answers quickly whenever you email the property and also she will help you find places to visit if you don’t have an idea of what you want to do while you are in Kingston. “The hotel was ok but I would not chose it again. At the website i was told that it is situated at the beach. That is not true! It is close to the sea but there is no beach and you can not swim there. My three first nights I could not sleep until 05.00 in the morning. That was because there is a strip-club almost next to the hotel. They were playing very loud music non-stop from 18.30 in the evening until between 03.00 and 05.00 in the morning. “The pre-check in experience and connection to the Property manager was thorough and efficient and let you know what to expect upon arrival. Property Manager was great in laying out the property features and surrounding area. The location was walking distance from supermarkets, banks, eating locations etc. For those it pertains to, the US Embassy is also within walking distance. Community is gated so the added security benefit is there.”
