I had booked a room for 5 nights that I sadly was not pleased with after the first night and wanted to leave. It was connected to the reception and yogaspace. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and upgraded me to one of the best rooms and wow, my stay become a whole lot better! I stayed in one of the Moksas and the room is beautiful with own pool and bathtub outisde. Loved every minute in my private villa. The kitchen was nice aswell and made me breakfast options that were not listed on the menu (Im a vegan).The Kapala Resort is large and has two pools and beautiful scenery and there is free shuttle in to Canngu two times daily. Its easy to get a taxi back, all the drivers I came across knew where Kalapa was. If you just want to buy some snacks there is a Cirkle K within walking distance from the resort. Thank you for making my stay memorable!

Best hotel ever!
This is the best hotel I ever booked. It is a calm area between jungle and rice fields. Our room had a big bed and plenty of space. The interior is fantastic and the outboard bathroom with a big bathtub was amazing to have a calm bath in in the evening. The service is outstanding. We had afternoon tee to our room every day, and also the breakfast. The only thing we can't give the highest point on is the breakfast. The breakfast is good but I feel that I want to more choices for breakfast. But the staff where super friendly and arrange drop coffee and super nice te for us in the morning. The pool (we mostly stayed with the one at the rice fields) was clean and super cool. Very ''instagram'' friendly. The best is to have a motorcycle (the staff arrange this for you) if you stay here. We where going down to the beach (5-8 min with motorbike) and down to the Canggu area everyday for surfing and eating lunch. I highly recommend this place and we will come back here next time in Bali. We loved it!

Yunita war sehr zuvorkommend und sehr herzlich. Bei Fragen jederzeit da und auch immer hilfsbereit, sehr professionell. Hat sich immer um uns gekümmert und sie hat immer nachgefragt, ob bei uns alles in Ordnung sei, das kommt nicht oft vor.

This place was such a great start to my Bali trip. The property is beautiful, serene and quiet. The staff was more than welcoming and took care of every need or request. The food was good and the room was very clean. I had a really great massage at the spa and felt very comfortable. The location is away from the city center (5-10minutes), so you will need to get a car or bike to get to the beach or shops. 10/10 experience, thank you Kalapa!!

Old and run down
The staff is excellent. They went out of their way to rectify every situation. But the facilities are old and worn out. The entire mosquito net structure dropped onto our bed while we were sleeping. The bathtub was dirty and the outdoor toilets were filled with caterpillars. After this incident the staff immediately aceeded to my request to change rooms. They gave us the shambala which was a bigger nicer room. But it was difficult to lock the main door. At night the stray cat opened the door and came into our room looking for snacks. Overall it was a very painful experience only made bearable by the staff. But looking around, this might be the best available in this location which I picked because it’s near bali mma. There are no other facilities or places of interest around this area. Will never come back

The room was nice and peaceful, good for a romantic getaway. However, the food at the restaurant was overpriced and horrible! It’s best to walk or cab 20min into Canggu and get a great meal for half the price!

A Canggu Gem
I loved my stay here. The staff was friendly and helpful and the overall atmosphere was very peaceful. I was very happy with the location of my villa as it overlooked the pool that was surrounded by many trees. I also enjoyed the free yoga classes. The only feedback I will give is about the spa. The towels used to cover the face area on the bed are very rough so it was uncomfortable for me to lay there with my face on it.

Magnifique hotel, déco sympa, emplacement au calme à 10 min en taxi de tout (on a utilisé l’appli Grab pour se déplacer). Le personnel est très, très sympa et toujours disponible avec un sourire. Nous avons pris le service de pick-up depuis l’aéroport, nous avons profité des cours de yoga matinals ainsi que le service de spa. Nous avons pris une chambre avec piscine privé que je n’ai pas pu profiter en raison de la présence d’insectes (mille pates) dans la terrasse et salle de bains extérieur, je ne le signale pas comme un point négatif sachant que l’hôtel est veritable arbre de paix au milieu de la nature mais pour moi, ça a été très difficile de partager l’espace avec ces petites bêtes et je préfére prevenir à d’autres voyegeurs(es) qui pourraient avoir la même phobie que moi.

Cozy nature get away tucked in Canggu province
Superb quiet get-away in Bali with friendly staff, amazing service, cozy pool & dwellings. We tried couple of massages, one availed in-room & another in the massage room. Felt nice & rejuvenated. Will stay with Kalapa shoule we visit Bali again.

Intimt hotel og flotte omgivelser
Virkelig hyggeligt og intimt hotel i frodige og flotte omgivelser. Der var kun få andre par på hotellet samtidigt med os, så vi havde for det meste poolen for os selv. Hotellet ligger lidt væk fra byen, men tilbyder gratis shuttle bus 3 gange om dagen. Derudover kan de kører dig derind for 25kr. Der er meget rent og pænt, og hotellets personale er meget hjælpsomme og søde. Det eneste jeg kan sætte en finger på er maden. Den er ikke dårlig, men man har ikke lyst til at spise der 3 gange om dagen.

Koselig sted, men vær forberedt på gekkoer
Fint sted, men litt unna byen, så må ta taxi. Vanskelig å sykle eller gå langs veien pga mye trafikk. Kan ikke løpe på grunn av løshunder. Hyggelig og høflig betjening. Mange gekkoer der, og fant avføring fra dyrene inne på rommet. Men dette tror jeg er vanlig. En del støy fra en gård like ved. Aircon fungerte bra på det ene rommet, men ikke på det andre. Litt språkproblemer. Ikke alltid lett å forstå hva de sier på engelsk.

everything. managed to recharge and have rest i wanted during my 5-day stay. Love the slow and zen pace in kalapa. mattress is comfy, room is tastefully decorated. love the garden. staff are very friendly, and treated you just like old friends. love the yoga classes by Ibu wayan - and wish for the resort would offer 2 classes per day instead of just one. However, maybe some points for further improvement. water pressure in the shower a little weak. Because of its location, waiting for bluebird taxi may also take a while. Other than that, the view of paddy fields from the second pool is now no more - but not really a big problem.

The best for some R&R/Wellness Break
Highly recommended if you wish to do not much, laze by the pool, do some yoga and have some spa treatments! I had an absolutely amazing stay here. Set in a gorgeous oasis, with only a few cabins, it was perfect for a bit of R&R. Staff were lovely - if you do wish to venture out they are very helpful with taxi’s etc. The 3 hr couples scrub/massage/flower bath package was the best pre-long haul ending also. Thanks to all the staff for a beautiful stay. I’d return in a heartbeat.

Traditional Balinese peace away from Canggu noise
This is a beautiful thoughtful authentic hotel where you can feel back to nature from the more modern bustle of Canggu. They have an easy shuttle so you can still get to the beach. One thing to note is that all breakfast is 1 package, you will get charged the buffet price for ordering 1 dish off the menu so you may as well get the hotel rate with breakfast included. The restaurant was very accommodating with my food allergies but it’s more expensive here than a restaurant in town. Spa was fantastic! My bedroom was incredibly comfortable. The shower and bath pressure were good. Also being in stand alone cottages means you have very little noise from any other guests. Wonderful stay!!

Quiet boutique resort for RRR
Lovely character hotel with a cosy and authentic feel. Loved the room, the details were perfect and the staff were excellent at helping me with arranging transport and food. Restaurant was small but had a good selection.

Il nostro premium bungalow (il n. 10) era caratteristico ma l’illuminazione dentro scarsissima (leggere un libro a letto era quasi impossibile) e non c‘erano finestre solo lamelle in legno, tra l‘altro mezze rotte. Quindi insetti e zanzare che entrano liberamente in camera, e non parliamo dei rumori da fuori, sembra di essere in una tenda in un campeggio - si sente veramente TUTTO! Non abbiamo provato il ristorante, solo la colazione. Niente di speciale, durante il nostro soggiorno a Bali ne abbiamo avute di gran lunga migliori. Penso non ci ritornerei, ci sono strutture più curate a prezzi paragonabili.

This resort was so peaceful and serene, I really felt super relaxed the entire stay and couldn't have been more cozy. Staff were attentive and kind, they often went out of their way to accomodate our requests and were patient with our questions! Would definitely recommend this place to a couple or anyone who is trying to get away from the hustle & bustle of city life. The resort it a bit secluded, so I recommend renting a scooter to explore the nearby beachtown or simply staying in and enjoying the property.

Fantastic suite and a magical fantastic experience. Amazing room and coolest bed with 5 m+ heaven bed. Friendly staff with good food, yoga and welcome massage. I need to come back.

Beautiful, unique design and architecture, good service and amenities. It made my stay relaxing and convenient - very enjoyable on the whole. I would want to go back and experience the look and feel of the various accommodation options at the resort!

Personal super freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Bilder der Zimmer sind leider nicht aktuell. Unser Zimmer war feucht, muffig und etwas heruntergekommen. Die außenliegende Badewanne war nicht wirklich nutzbar, zumindest wenn man sich darin wohlfühlen wollte. (Ungepflegter außenbereich, beschädigte Armaturen usw.) Die Dusche war ok. Zur Ausstattung: hier gabs z.B. kein Föhn und kein Ventilator der die Luft im Zimmer besser verteilt, da die eiskalte Luft der Klimaanlage eigentlich nur aufs Bett bläst. Essen war lecker und gut bekömmlich.

Peaceful haven near Canggu
My friend and I stayed here for a night to relax at the end of our holiday and it was pretty idyllic. Our room was decorated beautifully (really enjoyed the giant stone bathtub) and the staff were all kind and helpful. Free yoga was a nice touch too! The hotel is very scenic and feels secluded and peaceful. Breakfast was great, only point to improve was that the restaurant seemed to run out of a few ingredients at dinner. This wasn’t a huge issue however. Would definitely recommend.

Very friendly staff. The property is very nice. A secluded jungle oasis. The spa services were very nice as well. I got a 90 minute massage.

Just beware of hidden costs when travelling with family. Even if you pay a guest fee, you would have to pay an extra "Bed Fee" of 500,000 IDR to have an extra sleeping, and the bed is just a mattress on the floor as the rooms are quite small. I would recommend this resort for couples only who loves natural design and don't mind the jungle life.

Two nights in oasis
We spent our first two nights at Kalapa Resort. We booked an airport pick-up which cost 50,000 IDR more than it says on their website. Fair enough. The resort itself was like something from Instagram and it ended up there again by us. The service was friendly and the bungalow / villa very spacious and nice looking. There were construction noises, roosters making noice day and night and it sounded like a small dog was being abused or something and the yoga room was on the other side of the wall as was the reception, so we didn’t end up sleeping very well. We also didn’t enjoy Canggu as an area very much and it was a huge mistake to try to walk anywhere as there were no sidewalks and the resort was quite far away from everything. It took us an hour to walk to the beach eventhough the reception said 15 mins... Overall I would say, if you are ready to ride a scooter in crazy traffic and/or enjoy just relaxing at the resort, try Kalapa Resort.

Dear Samu, We do apologize for our mistakes that made you inconvenience. Actually our Airport Pick Up is cost at IDR 300.000. The construction is do by our neighbor since they repair their accommodation and sometimes sound of small dog or rooster just outside of our Resort. And for the Beach distance perhaps we had misunderstood to give the information, actually you need 10/15 minutes to go to the beach if you go by motorbike/scooter. But we also provide free bicycle if don't love to ride a scooter. Once again we do apologize and look forward to welcoming you at our resort at some point in the future. Best regards, Komang Erik
