“This is basic accommodation with no elevator. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The shampoo and body wash in the shower had pump tops which are easier to use than the squeeze bottles so many places use now. We didn't try the included breakfast but it didn't look like there was a lot of options.”

“I recently stayed at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Chattanooga South/East Ridge and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. “Ice was limited. The 3rd and 2nd floor ice makers was not working. The first room we received was not ready for us. Bed was not made. Staff was great about getting us a new room. “We booked a suite and got a standard 2 bed with no suite. Room smelt like mildew and cigarettes, carpet was wet. TV was crooked and looked like it was going to fall off the wall.”

“For the money spent this hotel was fine but it was very concerning that the black mold was spray painted over in the shower. That’s a huge health hazard. The beds were pretty lumping and the first floor had a very mildew smell to it. We honestly would like a discount on the room. For the owners knowledge, there was also water coming out from the shower handle. That will eventually cause an issue in the shower.”

“Pros: Pool was well maintained. Ascetically, the property is beautiful. Rooms were clean. Some staff was outgoing. Cons: No top sheet under the comforter. Charged for minibar items not consumed. Traincar not open during the afternoon anymore, then the area was used for a wedding cocktail hour so we were unsure about access to happy hour and for purchases. “The guy that checked me in was okay. The lady that checked me out was outstanding. She was very nice and professional. I met one of the managers on the elevator she was very nice. I love her and the lady that checked me out customer service. They are not friendly people. I had wanted to try a different hotel. BAD CHOICE!!I’m always going to the Hyatt or Marriott. They don’t have to worry about me again because I am NOT coming back.”

“Wallace and Nancy are the most gracious hosts. The property is beautiful, you can feel your stress melt away, and while this property is very close to the best restaurants and shopping, when hanging out at the cottage it is easy to forget you are in the city, it feels like you have escaped to the countryside. We had the best breakfast in the mornings....mixed fresh fruit with creme and granola, followed by eggs benedict and for dessert gooey homemade brownie...was just one of the awesome treats...
