“The breakfast was not good. Having yo go yhe The Holiday Inn to get what we wanted for breakfast was a big disappointment. No garbage was removed from our room the entire stay even though the staff came in to do the rest of the room.”

“Service staff in the kitchen are wonderful. The room view was excellent. Now the not so nice. Customer service manager Chau, is unprofessional and overtly arrogant. Snearing while chewing his gum he openly muttered how staff were going to hear from him about doing their job. Prepaid meals not readily available. The entire hotel was under renovations, not just the fitness facility. This caused noise and elevator disturbances on a consistent basis. Noise in the hallways, slamming doors and...

“It was nice enough, but not quite what we'd expected. While the inn looks like a nice large home, there were no owners on site; just hired staff tending to the 13 rooms. Our room was clean, but basic and unimpressive decor. The breakfast buffet was very good though, and the ocean views from the breakfast tables, and from the front bedrooms I assume (ours faced the back) were lovely.”

“Great little hotel, very well kept, with just the right touch of antique furniture. The rooms are super cosy and the dining/living room is very nice with a beautiful view. The 7-course dinner was outstanding and came with well-paired wine recommendations. We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast. Overall, pretty much the best hotel experience we head during our two-week tour through Nova Scotia.”

“No shoes allowed from the front door throughout the hotel. So take some slippers!! The owner makes you feel like you are invading here space and makes you feel like her time is more important than the customers time. There are lots of rules and $100 potential fine if you make a sound or wear your shoes. The owner can be quite sarcastic . Lastly She was upset by the amount paid. I booked online so they set the price not me.”

“Clean room, hot tub was on deck. Super relaxing night. Close walk to main lodge for dinner and breakfast. Sauna was really wuick to heat up and had me sweating bullets. Beautiful views in a great location just off the main Cabot Trail road. Highly recommended. Will return”
