Äldre hotell i engelsk stil med toppservice
Hotellet är lite nedgånget men charmigt. Personal och framförallt värdparet, Peter med fru, är mycket trevliga och fixar det mesta och lite till. Rekommenderas.

Enter as strangers, leave as friends.
I was looking for a cheap place to have a kip while i visited Cape Town. Found Altona Lodge on this site and figured the price where allright. Booked whitout expection really but is happy as a pig in shite that i did. What a great place. Staff is beyond friendly and very helpfull with bookings and such. The area around Altona is also very safe and nearby there is plenty of restaurants and pubs. I had the best of times.

Had a short but wonderful stay here. Super efficient as I had missed a plane connection. Very welcoming and really safe for a single female traveller. Brilliant location so close to green point park the water front etc. Highly recommended would stay here again loved it.

Excellent stay. Room was clean and comfortable, hosts were friendly and happy to help with any queries. Good breakfast, quiet area. No load shedding impact as they have a generator/ solar power.

Amazing
Altona Guest House is an amazing place to stay it is like being one of the family going to stay, we felt so at home. Nothing was to much trouble, they even did our large load of washing for us for a small fee

Amazing Guesthouse
This place is absolutely fabulous, if they have availability you need to stay here. It's a large family home converted into a guesthouse, the owners are so nice and the breakfast is delicious. Great location, hot water, fast wifi. I loved it here.

My six day stay at this property was incredible. I was very happy with every last detail in regard to my experience. The owner Peter and the manager Wendy became like friends and they went overboard to make me feel welcome and to help me out as much as they could. The breakfasts beyond words and Moffat the cook was so much fun to chat with. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the location is great if you enjoy walking. I was able to the walk along the ocean, to the shopping area, the stadium and the downtown area. I am planning to return with my wife and spend a month at this property next winter.

Nice price worth the money
I stayed for two nights and find the place cozy and convenient for visiting Cape Town, particularly for V/A waterfront and beaches. Good breakfast, nice management, definitely worth the value!

Quality guesthouse in a great area
The guesthouse is well-run, clean, and comfortable, with excellent and friendly hosts. The guesthouse is also well-located in Green Point - safe, close to the V&A Waterfront, and a short Uber ride from most major tourist attractions in Cape Town.

This place is super super NEAT and CLEAN. The location is so safe and it's easy to walk to Water Front which is the tourist center. And also nearby to the restaurant. You can pick the food what you want to eat. You don't regret to stay in ALTONA GUEST HOUSE. I will be staying again in this place when I visit Cape Town again. The owner Peter, he is super nice. And also Wendy, she is nice and very helpful.

A localização e ótima para quem está de carro. Rua tranquila, fácil de achar vaga, perto de waterfront. Quartos sem muito luxo, mas amplos, limpos e bem arrumados. Serviço muito simpático. Achei excelente o custo benefício.
