Take time out, slow down, and reconnect with nature at this beautiful woodland cabin in the Ponte Alpes on the northern shore of Lake Maggiore. A 110-meter path through an enchanting forest leads you to a single-story cabin, nestled on the hillside, amongst the trees. Suitable for groups of up to 6 people, the 2-bedroom cabin greets you with an elegant open-plan living space with country décor.

The fully fitted kitchen is equipped with an Oven, Microwave, and toaster, making for easy self-catering. A large wooden dining table with 6 seats and a large comfortable sofa occupy the living space and centre round the large fireplace. Perfect for a meal and a glass of wine around a roaring fire. French windows lead out to the sun-soaked terrace, furnished with sun chairs, and an outdoor dining area with benches, this location is perfect to sunbathe, taking in the spectacular views of the lake or just enjoying the quiet solitude of the forest. In the garden, guests can find a barbeque and family table made from local stone. Padded with cushions, it is a delightful place to have a family barbecue al-fresco.

For rainy days, the cabin is equipped with a Smart TV and a Games library. The Woodland escape is exactly that, an escape from everyday stress and perfect for guests who enjoy the peace of residing in nature. As it is some distance from the town, a car is essential, as such parking is available by the main road.

Sleeping

Bedroom 1: The bright bedroom has a King-size Double bed and wardrobe.
Bedroom 2: The airy bedroom has two single beds, a wardrobe and a bureau desk with a chair.

The sofa in the living room converts to a double bed, comfortably sleeping 2.

Bathroom
The property has one shared bathroom, elegantly tiled the bathroom is fitted with a standalone shower, wash basin vanity, Bidet and WC.

Location
The cabin is about 20 minute\'s drive from the closest town of Verbania, here guests will find grocery stores and shops with a wide range of provisions. Around the cabin, there are many hiking trails such as Alpe Pont and Monte Turrioni, which are approximately 3-5km in distance. In Verbania, there is a variety of bars and restaurants featuring Piedmontese cuisine to suit all budgets.

The cabin is perfectly located for winter sports, skiing and snowboarding runs Funivia Piana di Vigezzo offers 20km of ski slopes at all levels of difficulty. These join into the Cui Dariolo and Baitina runs which are suitable for beginners. Nordic cross-country skiing is available and the Centre of Santa Maria Maggiore offers a 20km ski run and winds through the woods and plains and is partly equipped with artificial lighting for night races! At higher altitudes, there is the 5 km ski run at Loana Valley at the gate to Val Grande National Park. A perfect year-round activity is to visit the immaculate gardens of Villa Taranto, the botanical gardens are home to thousands of trees and flowers from all over the world.
