“The best thing about my room was the renovated tiny bathroom. It had nice marble and sink but the toilet seat was loose. And that was just the beginning of the poor state of things. The room was pretty clean but the door paint had been chipped and not repainted and the door handle was barely functional. I definitely used the deadbolt lock. “Staying at the Taber Inne & Suites is a bit like travelling back in time... I was recommended a more centrally located hotel in Mystic, but opted for this location a bit more in the outskirts of the town. Very peaceful, good parking, easy to locate and a very short walk into the center! There is a small coffe shop (Nana's) very close by and a few small eating spots (more downtown). Parking was outside my room (no 15) and reception a few doors down. Spacious, great wifi, ok bathroom, door to back...

“We stayed in the Nantucket, and it was everything we hoped for and more. A cozy, spotless, stylish little cottage all to ourselves, sitting steps away from the water. We spent mornings and evenings on the porch watching the boats and wildlife in a serene and quiet setting, but restaurants and shopping downtown were just a minute away by car. “The staff were nice, but the room smelled awful. I wasn't sure what the smell was, old smoke possibly. The bed barely fit in the odd shaped room. The floor was tile and felt unclean. When I pulled back the top sheet on the bed there was dirt in the bed. There wasn't a way to plug in my phone charger near my bed as the only side table was up against a door to another room with no outlet nearby. The walls were so thin that I was kept up well past midnight from the party that was going on next...
