Perfect
The property is well maintained, clean, well situated just off the main thoroughfare. Walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and the small grocery store. Walking to see the sunset takes about five minutes. Sunrise over the bay was very nice each morning, listening and watching the Osprey hunt for breakfast. Parking is fine; there is a private lot. The pool was very nice and while shared, we found when we could have it to ourselves and used it just about every day. The cottage itself is very basic but has just about everything you might need. It kept very cool with the AC although it was noisy at night (we didn't mind). The bed was fine. Two people would probably be the max at this place. Only cautionary word would be to keep a sharp eye out when turning off the side street onto the main street - it is a somewhat blind corner with the vegetation.

Cozy, tidy cottage with attractive landscaping.
Stay was very pleasant. Cottage was well organized & tidy. Bedroom was a bit cramped - would have worked better with a Queen bed. We would stay again. Property managers were friendly and helpful.

Affordable, fun and convenient
Difficulty locating our cottage as we arrived well after dark. Calked the maintenance number (on a Sunday) and they were extremely helpful. More than adequate in every way.

#2 Captiva cottage
We really enjoyed our stay and loved our little cottage… It was very clean and had everything you needed… We love the area and plan on coming back… Only reason I would not give five stars is the groundwork in need of some repair Including the pier area and a water back up in the side yard

Backed up sewer
Had to put up with sewer oder from one of the units. Couldn’t sit outside in the screen room because of it. Also, the photos of the property showed the dock in perfect condition when in fact it was partially destroyed by a hurricane over a year ago and not repaired.

Small surprise
Property was great. It's on the part of the island which is heavily vegetated. Feels like you're on the South Sea island of Somoa. Cabin is small and quaint... less than 400s.f. Perfect for two. Short walk to the beach. We cooked both nights that we were there. Full kitchen with new cookware, plates and utensils. Very Romantic. We'll be back.

Small and Sweet
Cottage was adorable and clean in a great location. Walking distance to shops, beaches and restaurants. Holiday week is a little too crowded for my liking and the beaches in Florida might be free but the parking isn’t!! And it’s very limited!
