Island House 3 sovrum / 3 badhus

  • Island House är en privat stuga mitt i Captiva Village centrum, tvärs över Binder Lane från vikstranden. Den är byggd i den gamla Florida-stilen och är registrerad som en historisk stuga. Den 28 mars 2018 var Captiva Island Historical Society värd för en firande 100-årsjubileum för Island House. Byggt 1918 av F. A. Lane och ägs senare av pastor Rawls fram till 1978 när Joe och Nan Baer köpte Island House och det kvarstår i familjen Baer / Terrill idag.

    Detta är ett utmärkt läge med så lätt gångavstånd till affärer och restauranger. Promenera ner Andy Rosse Lane till stranden.

    Island House har tre sovrum och tre bad, plus en dagssäng i ett mindre rum. Det finns ett fullt utrustat kök, en inglasad veranda och en fin trädgård. Den har en tvättstuga med tvättmaskin / torktumlare. För en familj som kräver mindre utrymme kan du bara hyra två våningar i två sovrum separat för en lägre veckopris.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are return guests to this well appointed home. We love the location with a short walk to the beach and many restaurant options. We saw lots dolphins at the beach and manatees in the marina. Great family time!

Location, Location, Location!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great stay with our family of 4. We are a couple in our 50's traveling with our sons 19 & 20. The perfect part about this property besides the location is the "in-law" apartment. Our son's enjoyed their own space. The home had everything you would need for a perfect beach vacation. Many plates, utensils, beach chairs, outdoor shower, board games, etc. Location was truly amazing. About 2/10th of a smile from the beach, close to the restaurants but set back just enough to be away from the noise and hustle-bustle.

Great house and location

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Short 8-10 minute walk to the beach. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. The upstairs can only be accessed by using the outside stair case, so that’s not ideal. I came with my one year old son and packed a pack and play and everything else I needed. The house actually had a pack and play, umbrella stroller and toys! Which was super nice. Also had beach chairs and beach towels. The only problem I had with the house was that it was dirty. The air vents are discussing. It is clear they haven’t been cleaned in at least 6 months, probably longer. The fans also had a huge layer of dust. One of the air vents didn’t even have a filter in it. Under the couch is was gross and near the TV I don’t think it has ever been cleaned. The house is in need of a BIG time cleaning. That was my only problem with the house.

Absolutely Loved Everything

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very charming house. We have 4 kids (17, 13, 11, 9) and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kids loved being in the living quarters upstairs. 5 minute walk to the beach. 1-5 min walk to all restaurants. The property owner is most helpful and kind property owner I have rented from. Beach chairs, beach toys and towels are neatly provided. Everything describing the house and the reviews I read were extremely accurate. Would stay at this location again in a heartbeat.

Loved Island House!

The quiet street is just steps from sunrise and two blocks from sunset. The updated house had everything we wanted and the upstairs apartment provided just enough privacy. As usual, the American Realty staff took care of everything. Can’t wait to return to Captiva.
