Swift check-in for me personally, although there was a queue behind me. They seemed a little understaffed considering there was a big party going on and lots of people arriving.
Super comfortable bed and pillows and soft, plush carpet which was lovely under foot.
Shower controls not directly underneath the shower head, which was amazing - more hotels should do this!
A couple of minor gripes:
The air con unit kicked in and made whirring noises for about 10 minutes, every 10 minutes, even when the aircon/heater was off.
The door stop in the bathroom was in just the wrong place, between the sink and the towel rail and bin. I was amazed I didn't stub my toe as it is just where you want to put your foot when reaching for the towel. It wasn't even stopping the door, as the stopper was too low and the door just glided over it and hit the toilet instead (room 322).
I don't remember reading this before I came (but maybe I just missed it), so for information, the parking is charged at £8 per night.
