“Absolutely loved my stay at The Black Lion Royal Hotel. The room and bathroom were spotless and clearly very well looked after. The people at the reception are incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. The English breakfast was delicious and freshly made each morning. “Well maintained basic room in Aberporth a few minutes walk from the park and beaches. Clean, nicely decorated row of rooms on top of a coffee shop, easy free parking in back. Kettle and small kitchen part but not fully equipped for cooking. Several restaurants around but kitchens seem to close at 8 pm, small convenience store just down the street. As in many hotels in the UK, floor was carpeted. Would have been nice with a fan as it was quite warm.”

“The location was fabulous and our room had an amazing view over the beach. We had dinner in the bar area and had a window seat overlooking the sea. The food was wonderful and the staff worked really hard to provide excellent service. Harriet was chatty, friendly and really concscientious and is a real credit to the team. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”
