This property is in a lovely part of the country, and was clean and well-presented. However, we weren't able to stay in the house for the two nights that we had reserved. When we let ourselves in, we were stopped by the next-door neighbour. She appeared to be in a drunken state. She behaved in an inappropriate way, and even kissed our ten year old son, who has a disability and so is vulnerable to respiratory infections, so we had real COVID concerns. She then went on to say that she would be playing music that evening, and we felt unable to stay and relax at the property. Instead we booked a night in a hotel, and then returned home early. We expressed our concerns to the property owner, who refused any kind of refund, even a small amount of money as a goodwill gesture. The property is also down a tiny little alleyway, and the parking is quite far away from the cottage, so it is unsuitable for anyone with a disability. Would not recommend if you are staying with a young family or with mobility issues.
