    We are conveniently located 12 minutes from Lafayette just off of I -49 and I -10.
    There are many restaurants, music venues , museums and quant towns close by with lots to enjoy!
    I am a local potter and have my home and studio on the premises.
    I am available and happy to share recommendations with you about our lovely area yet very respectful of your privacy.
    The cottage is perfect for festival goers , professionals and romantic getaways!
    Spacious and cozy living areas are fully furnished .
    Queen bed and large comfortable couch, sleeps three comfortably!
    Lovely deck outside under a gorgeous 150 year old oak with grill, table and chairs for relaxing and an extra shower outdoors for the nature lover!
    Here you are close to everything special about Acadiana!

Quick Trip to Acadiana

Lovely, well appointed cottage for two in a tranquil setting. The convivial and talented hostess only added to the charm of this property. We would stay here again, and highly recommend The Potter's Cottage.

Lafayette area

This is out from the city a short ways and in a peaceful location. The house is everything you could ask for and Suzi and an excellent host. We have stayed here several times and it never disappoints.

Relaxing Babymoon Weekend

The Potters Cottage was a beautiful and peaceful place and was so relaxing after a couple of days of exploring Lafayette and the surrounding areas. Suzi was such a kind and welcoming host and made sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely want to stay there again on another visit to the area.

Beautiful & Cozy!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed visiting this little cottage. We wished we would’ve booked a longer stay because we didn’t want to leave! Hostess was very friendly and accommodating, house was clean, comfortable and just as pictured. We will definitely be back!

Just passing thru

Can’t say enough great things about the property and owner. Definitely worth the stay if just traveling through the Lafayette area or staying for the weekend. Hostess provided a great dinner suggestion as well! You won’t be disappointed!

Absolutely perfection and beautiful

We fell in love with the place the moment we drove into the driveway. Our host has immaculate, taste in decor And everything was first rate. Every detail was just perfect. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Visiting family near by.

Very cute and quaint cottage. Had all the necessities for our stay. The gardens surrounding were relaxing and provided a great escape. The outdoor shower is amazing. Suzi definitely takes pride in her cottage and is a wonderful hostess. Will definitely stay again!!

Beautiful Art Studio

What a gem! It’s like staying in an art studio turn luxury hotel. The pottery all around is wonderful, as is the art and decor. The bed is super comfortable and the robes are a cozy touch. All amenities you could need, get no clutter or fuss.

The cutest cottage!

My husband and I enjoyed our peaceful stay at the Potters Cottage for our Anniversary getaway. I love Suzi’s sense of style and we had everything we needed. She was so friendly and thoughtful. We even left with some yummy honey! We will definitely stay at the cottage again. Thank you, Suzi!❤️
