Welcome to “Casetta.” More than just a stay, it’s an experience. We offer you an “open-space” accommodation—a mini-loft where you can enjoy a carefree stay with your family or friends. The cottage has its own completely private patio. Just a few meters away, you can enjoy a well-maintained Italian-style garden featuring a small pond with koi carp and water lilies. The beautiful pool with rounded corners is located 50 meters from the accommodation; it features a large Roman staircase, a diving area 3.5 meters deep with a diving board, and a shallow section for children that is 100 cm deep; It also features a large sun deck with three umbrellas, deck chairs, loungers, and a seating area where you can relax by the pool; in the same area, there is also an outdoor shower and a restroom. You can also enjoy the experience of having an outdoor barbecue using the large BBQ area covered with antique tiles and a wooden roof; this area is fully equipped with a sink and furnished with a stone and ceramic table and comfortable chairs. During harvest season, you can also enjoy the organic seasonal fruits the garden offers—oranges, mandarins, lemons, as well as plums, peaches, apricots, and more—all made available to our valued guests. All of this is included in your stay at “La Casetta.” An experience that goes beyond a pleasant, relaxing stay!

Starting from “La Casetta,” you can visit famous sites, cultural landmarks, and explore the area, as well as enjoy activities like guided or unguided boat trips, or reach the summit of Mount Etna with its active craters and much more. “La Casetta” is a beautiful, ideal accommodation for couples, families, and groups of friends who want to spend a completely relaxing vacation in a barrier-free environment. It is, in fact, a true “open space” where you can enjoy a shared experience with absolute ease. This is also a starting point for wonderful excursions to the natural sites the area is rich in, from Mount Pancali, located just 500 meters away, which offers excellent trekking opportunities surrounded by nature. From here, it’s just a short trip to Pantalica and its necropolis; separated by a mere 20 km, you’ll find yourself strolling or enjoying a lovely picnic by the stream that flows through its valley. From “La Casetta,” you can easily reach vast beaches and cliffs, as well as nature reserves and tourist sites rich in the cultural heritage left by the Greeks, Romans, Arabs, and Normans. “La Casetta” is a studio apartment with a loft, a true mini-loft, offering a pleasant stay where you can choose between relaxation and the nightlife of nearby Catania—a city that never sleeps, offering charming, folkloric corners filled with quaint bars and a wide variety of street food.

“La Casetta” is nestled on the Cirico’ hill, at the foot of Mount Pancali. Here you can go hiking, pick wild asparagus (from March to May), gather wild capers native to the area—where they are abundant and…free… (from May to July)—and take walks surrounded by nature.
