Suggestions
Needed for older people: Safety strips in shower. Extra step bottom of stair case. Rise is difficult. Photo does not show the occupant entry which has a steep stair case.

Adorable Little Cabin
This adorable little cabin was perfect for our one night stay in Tahoe. It was clean, and well stocked for everything that we might need. Exactly how it was pictured and it is in a beautiful setting. We were visiting friends across the street and I was sure to tell them about this spot so that they could recommend it to friends and family that may visit in the future. So glad we found it - couldn't have been more perfect!

Amazing!
This was the perfect place to stay & will definitely be back! It was just like a cozy treehouse. The host were very friendly and very quick responses. A beautiful neighborhood to walk around and very close to the lake. Thanks Rob & Claire!

Wonderful stay to ski Palisades!
It’s a small cozy space that has everything you need after coming in from a long day playing in the snow. The heat is great and easily adjustable and shower water heated up fast too. Very clean space and everything provided for a hot shower. The ghost shoveled out the entrance after snowfall all day and were quick to reply to any of our questions. Thank you so much for your kindness!

Cozy cottage please maintain walkways
The cottage was everything that it was advertised as. Great for a day trip for 2 or a couple. Check in process was easy and as stated 4wd/AWD is necessary in winter months. One thing I did not appreciate is the lack of snow maintenance in the parking space and walk ways. Our parking space was not cleared at all and just had tracks from vehicles pulling in and out, and the walking path to the cottage was about 2ft wide and was still Icy snow causing for a rough time getting in and out of the car and cottage.

A room with a view !!
The cabin is small - but it was perfect for just me (and there is a loft with a twin bed- I could bring a grand babe with me another time) it’s clean it’s cute it’s just lovely and the owners next door are super sweet I was up for a baseball tournament for my grand son and decided to stay a few extra days - glad I did - Robert told me about a secluded lil beach right around the corner and it was perfect and I had it all to myself I left me laptop up there and he went right over and found it and overnighted it to me and let me Venmo the expense to him (that alone was priceless) I cannot wait to come back !!

Overall view
The owners were most helpful and welcoming, and helped us carry things in, and helped with our car. We could not find a hair dryer, and from the listing did not know there was not a kitchen, only a small refrigerator and microwave. We would have brought less food if we had known.

Comfortable and clean
We enjoyed staying at this property very much! Everything was very clean and although it is small, it was fine for three adults to stay in. Perfectly situated for us to explore the lake in the south, north and Nevada sides. There is a view of the lake which can be seen while laying in the downstairs bed (great way to wake up!). The hosts are very gracious and pleasant. We would definitely stay here again!

Such a nice cabin!
We loved our stay in the hideaway cabin! The hosts are lovely people and everything was very nice. The location couldn’t be better. Really enjoyed the hiking and beach recommendations they gave us.

Best hosts ever!
Rob and Lily were undoubtedly the nicest and most generous hosts we've ever encountered! They went above and beyond to make us feel at home during our stay. They treated us like we were old friends and made sure we had everything we needed. The cabin is adorable, immaculate, and has a quintessential Tahoe feel. The location is superb. We will definitely be back!

No AC, owners dog barked next door and kept us awake. Bed and pillows uncomfortable. Very dissatisfied browner response to our concern was “ that’s the way it is”.

Tiny outdoor space
The pictures show a yard, but it is not part of the property. If you want to sit outside, you have to sit on a very small deck off the front door. Bring lawn chairs.

Amazing location, cabin and hosts!!
My husband and I stayed at “the hideout” for 2 nights in July 2021 on our 10 year anniversary trip. The cabin was so cute- clean and cozy with great views and only a couple blocks to the waterfront. The location is perfect- close to the main streets in North Tahoe/Tahoe City and nearby bars and restaurants- but also secluded and private. Claire and Rob were beyond friendly, hospitable and gracious hosts. My husband and I said we would all be fast friends if we lived here. :) Their house and property is beautiful. And their sweet pups were adorable and just an extra bonus! We would love to come back!!

Great Cabin!
Great little hideaway cabin. Not far from several public beaches and restaurants. Property was clean and property owner was very friendly (as were thier dogs). Would definitely stay here again.
