It just doesn't get more convenient than this for fishing the Carolina and Kure Beach waters. Bring your boat! A private parking spot for your boat/trailer comes with the rental.



The fully enclosed ground level has a side garage with ample space for workspace or golf cart, even a mud sink for the fishers to clean up. If you are in the process of a move into the Wilmington area, note that there is dry space inside the garage where you could store packing cartons. There are beach chairs and bikes for your use. An elevator for your convenience that goes to the kitchen level. A private outdoor hot water shower is perfect for cleaning up after a sandy day at the beach.



The living space begins on the second level with ocean side and canal side covered decks. The minute you step into the foyer, wow! A huge walk in laundry room. This space also makes for a wonderful office!



For starters, the primary bedroom has a huge 19x16 open area with adjoining 10x11 sitting room. Each partner has their own private, huge walk-in closet with floor to ceiling custom storage. Enjoy spa day, every day, in the large en suite bathroom, with his and hers opposing vanities, whirlpool jetted tub, walk-in shower, enclosed toilet. The primary even has an en suite private deck over the boat ramp with Intracoastal views. There is also a guest bedroom on this level with queen bed and private bath.



On the third level the reverse plan maximizes expansive views while allowing you to enjoy life where you live the most: the family room, dining room, kitchen, are open space with natural light and water views on all sides. Curl up with a book this winter at the gorgeous gas fireplace, or enjoy your own TV apps on the oversize Smart TV. The living space walks onto a huge 12x30 entertainment deck, with generous all weather seating, and swivel rockers. In the hallway, find a separate closet with a full-size beverage refrigerator and another half bath.



The modern kitchen with granite counters, 5 burner gas range, high end stainless appliances, and a Techni Dorm gourmet coffee maker will meet all your gourmet cooking requirements.



There is also an amazing second queen guest suite with private bath which could function as a primary suite as well.



The top level has a large, open bonus room in a cupola. This space can be a fourth bedroom, or a dancing, singing art room for the grand kids. A pub table vignette is great for cards and games, a comfy sofa / love seat and 2 side chairs for reading, and an extra queen futon is provided in case of extra overnight company. A half bath services this level. Go out on the deck for stunning views of the Intracoastal Waterway, the Carolina Beach Canal, and the Wildlife Boat Ramp.



Stairway access from the cupola porch leads to a sky deck at the very top where, in addition to the ICW and canal, you can see the ocean at north end, Wrightsville Beach's skyline, and fireworks in three towns. Here, you will make lifetime memories of gorgeous sunsets and incredible twilight views.



Parking – Private Driveway for two vehicles, including one garage space. Do NOT park on the grass. No RVs, boats, or trailers are permitted to park on the premises. Boats and Trailers may park on the corner before you turn into the public parking area for the boat ramp. Sea Coast is not affiliated with the towing companies and is not responsible for any failure to park as per the posted signs.



Linens - Sheets and Towels will be wrapped in sealed packages and lying on the ends of the beds.



Rental Policies:

In response to the increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.



Things to bring:

Paper towels and toilet paper, trash bags, soaps, detergents, minimal cleaning supplies, and beach towels.



Arrival/Departure:

Summer Check-ins (June-August) begin at 4 pm and are guaranteed by 6 pm

Off-season check-ins begin at 3 pm and are guaranteed by 5 pm

Check-out is by 10 am.

We adhere to this policy, so please do not arrive early or plan to delay your departure.

Elevator Policies:

Please note, the elevator is for convenience only and does not guarantee ADA Compliance or Wheelchair accessibility. Although elevators are checked on a regular basis, Sea Coast Rentals/Owners will not be held accountable if the elevator is not operating or functioning properly during your stay. No refunds will be issued for these closures.



Pet Policy:

No pets allowed.



Cancellation Policy:

We want to make sure you’re aware of our cancellation policy. If you cancel when your arrival date is more than 60 days away, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel when your arrival date is less than 60 days away, you will forfeit your deposit.

The Neighborhood:

Adventure awaits on Pleasure Island. Exploring the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher, home to incredible coastal wildlife, or take the scenic car ferry across the Cape Fear River for a relaxing visit to the charming town of Southport where quaint streets are filled with unique antique shops and galleries. History lovers can walk the scenic, live‑oak‑lined trails of the Fort Fisher State Historic Site, where Civil War bunkers still stand. Nature enthusiasts will love the island’s two state‑managed coastal preserves: Carolina Beach State Park, home to rare Venus flytraps found naturally only in this region, and the Fort Fisher State Recreation Area, known for pristine beaches, marshes, and wildlife viewing. Both offer beautiful opportunities for hiking, paddling, fishing, and spotting pelicans or even nesting loggerhead sea turtles.

Getting Around:

Getting around Pleasure Island is a breeze! While parking can be limited in peak season, especially in popular spots, paid private or public parking is available. We recommend exploring Carolina Beach and Kure Beach on foot or by bike – they're super walkable and bike-friendly. You'll find safe pedestrian and bike routes, including the Island Greenway. Renting a golf cart or bike is easy, too, with several local rental companies. Golf carts are one of the easiest ways to cruise around the island. Rentals are simple to arrange, and once you're behind the wheel, you can zip along any road posted 35 mph or under.
