Välkommen till Sol de Mar (Sea Sun) - en spännande ny modern fastighet vid havet på Fort Fisher Blvd. Norr i Kure Beach. Lämna dina skor vid dörren och sjunka in i denna underbart nya och välutrustade skiva paradis. Promenera ut till stranden, koppla av vid poolen, läs en bok på verandan eller njut av de många aktiviteter som vår strand och stad har att erbjuda.

Detta helt nya hem, av Tomlinson Designs arkitekter och David James & Co. byggare, har en öppen och modern design inifrån och ut. . Den privata gångvägen ger direkt tillgång till ett unikt otrevligt område av Kure Beach, långt ifrån upptagen parkeringsplatser och offentliga tillgångspunkter till stranden. Slutförandet planeras för 1 maj 2020.

Enhet B har omfattande fönster och dörrar i det huvudsakliga vardagsrummet och sovrummet och ett stort, täckt, omlindad däck tillgängligt från vardagsrummet / matsalen samt sovrummet. Däck har utsikt över havet, poolen och ett stort uteplatsområde. Köket har två diskmaskiner, en stor ö och rostfria vitvaror i hela. Det finns nästan 1000 kvadratmeter trädäck och uteplats.

Sol De Mar kan enkelt anpassa sig till din grupp. Enhet B är en våning i en dubbelsidig tvåvåningsplan som rymmer 15. Hyr en våningen eller båda enheterna som en "helhet" som rymmer 27. Observera att eftersom denna fastighet är en duplex kommer vissa bekvämligheter (t.ex. poolen) att delas av båda våningarna på fastigheten.

We had a fabulous stay! Even before we even arrived, I knew it was going to be wonderful just based on how communicative the property owners were. There were chocolate chip cookies on the counter as a welcome gift, which was a lovely surprise. The home is modern and sleek and just the perfect amount of sophistication. We already have plans to return for another work trip at this home in October!

Beautiful Property, Some Negative Experiences

The property and location are as beautiful as depicted and right on the beach. I would return to the house if I was back in Kure beach. Cons: A.) AC: can not be controlled and is set to 74F. When we were there the low outside was 71F at night. I asked the owner why it can’t go lower, and he said it would break the system and I should give him a call. I don’t want to argue with an owner about HVAC while on a vacation. FWIW I am in a different location with a hot climate right now with 90%+ humidity, temperatures 90F+, and a heat index of 100F, and we are running the AC lower than 74F! I do not know if the reason for these restrictions are to save electricity ($$) or because the AC system is underpowered for the house. B.) Cleaning hassle: We paid cleaning$ upfront but we were asked to pay more $ at the end. 4 hours after checkin (~8pm) the owner sent us a 1500 character message about how the previous guests didn’t clean enough, and he had to charge them more. He threatened us against leaving a mess or else he’d charge us more too. Then, at 10pm the night before checkout, the owner sent us a new cleaning list, when checkout was 12 hours later. After checkout (via email, not on the platform) he asked us pay additional $ charges. Here is the list of what we didn’t clean: - microwave - cooktop - toothpaste on vanities - ⅓ can of trash - Pakaged food left on the kitchen island (e.g. sliced bread) - Solo cups in a corner I refused to pay and he dropped the matter. 4/5 stars.

The Best!

Wow! Despite the rainy windy weather, we enjoyed being indoors at this lovely location! The large windows provided a beautiful view and the large kitchen and pantry was perfect for preparing meals. The heated pool was a real treat, especially for our granddaughters! Highly recommend and will absolutely stay here again!

Perfection!

Stunning property with amazing amenities and superior linens. (No floral polyester bedspreads here!) Excellent hosts, location, views, and layout. Private pool with private walkway to the beach. Nothing was overlooked when they designed this property and the hosts go above and beyond, providing way more than what is normally expected. Book now before it's too late!

Amazing Beach house

This beach house on Kure Beach is amazing. It's in wonderful condition and has plenty of room in both the bedrooms and the living/kitchen area. Parking is not a problem and it has lots of extras (Beach items, ping pong table, pool) We had a wonderful time and will definitely stay here in the future.

Perfect Stay

The home was even better than advertised! Clean, beautiful, and fully stocked. Perfect location close to everything but the beach still felt private. We spent our week alternating between the beach and the heated pool. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful, modern beach house

This gorgeous home was perfect for our family beach trip. We all loved the pool and the great assortment of games and beach supplies. The beach itself is a few steps away on a flat, even boardwalk -- so nice for the older members of our family. The interior of the property is beautiful -- new, modern, and clean, but still with that relaxing beachy feel. We can't wait to go back!

Freaking AMAZING!

Everything about our stay was amazing, but even without the things to do around town, the house itself made for a fantastic get away. The design and decor were so welcoming. The pool was such a wonderful perk and it being heated was a nice touch! We were even visited by a TON of butterflies out enjoying the little strip of garden by the pool. The ocean views and short walk to the beach were also lovely. And the fact that baby turtles were being protected right out back from our place and every morning we got to go see if the little guys had hatched yet....I mean, you couldn't have planned that sort of thing any better! We were meeting up as a family for the first time since COVID hit, celebrating missed birthdays and my father's retirement. The home was spacious enough to give us each breathing room and privacy in our bedrooms, plus had just the right space to all come together and cook and eat family meals, play games, or just cocktail and chat. It really was a beautiful place to stay. And the owners were accommodating and incredibly communicative. We never had to wonder about how to do anything at the house because there were easy-to-follow instructions left in books and signs around the house. Plus Jeff stayed in touch before and during our stay to ensure we were good to go at all times! Loved it! Will totally book the house again one day. Really - the experience was freaktacularly-AMAZING! And the house itself was just perfect.....so much so, my husband and I are looking into the same builders about a mountain home we hope to build in the next few years. 5,000 STARS and highly recommend.

Sol de Marvelous!!!

Our first vacation post Covid and Sol de mar did not disappoint. The best ocean front house on the beach! Roomy and accommodating for our family of 8 plus nearby visiting family in every way. Could not find a negative thing to say. The Castrella family thought of everything. So much thought was put into this home! And like any great provider of a service, they asked what can we do better??? Nothing. The experience was a 10+ out of 10. Hope we get the chance to stay again.

Amazing Property

This is an excellent property located right on the beach in Kure Beach. Heated pool, brand new, views are awesome. The kitchen is fully stocked for anyone cooking, 2 dishwashers, prep space, everything you could need. The owners are great, they communicate with you pre stay and provide anything you need once you arrive. Excellent choice for a larger family or 2 familes as we stayed in Unit B.

5 star getaway at Kure Beach

Sol del Mar is everything and more! Right on the water, spacious, contemporary, just perfect! We were looking for a safe, clean, luxury getaway for our family of 6 on the water and Jeff and Gretchen's home went far beyond our expectations. Beyond their lovely home, they were such wonderful hosts - sending us thoughtful and detailed communications before our trip, leaving delicious cookies for our kiddos on our arrival, and just being available for questions and help throughout our trip. We look forward to returning to their home in the very near future!!

Amazing stay at a new beachfront home

Our family rented Gretchen & Jeff's place over Thanksgiving weekend. I can't even begin to describe how fantastic it was, and how great they are. This was the best supplied, cleanest rental house we've ever stayed in. The location can't be beat; right on the beach. We cooked all of our meals in-house, and the kitchen was really well stocked. I forgot to bring a meat thermometer, and Jeff was kind enough to let us borrow his so we didn't die of salmonella which really would've put a damper on things. We'd absolutely return to their house again, should they have us.

Modern Beach Perfection

Not your average NC beach house. The pictures speak for themselves, and the property is everything you would hope it might be. Wonderfully designed, spacious, clean, comfortable, and just a few steps from a more private stretch of beach (nearest public access is a good ways away). Everything you need, and the owners are extremely responsive with any questions or requests. The pool is large enough, and the area surrounding the pool is immaculate and spacious. We hope to stay again soon!

5 stars for this beauty on the beach! We held a retreat and had 15 women at this home and it couldn't have been better. From the decor, to the location, to the cleanliness, to the owners, it was top notch. They even delivered the most delicious biscuits to our group and were delightful and accomodating! This home will not disappoint!!!
