Perfect Chill Beach Getaway
My family of four thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean, new, and so close to the beach. We walked to everything we needed (groceries, restaurants, ice cream, surf shop) and took strolls along the beach. Multiple other beaches with surfable waves were a short drive away. Communication with the owners was great. Check in and out was seamless. It really was perfect. Highly recommended.

Gorgeous Beach Condo
Beautiful condo across the street from the beach. Updated , clean and stocked with all the supplies you need. Comfortable beds and 2 modern bathrooms. Decor is lovely throughout. Perfect location just a few minutes walk to downtown Carpinteria.

Pleasant unit close to beach
Five day stay off season to be near our son who lives in Carp. Unit was delightful and well equipped. Bedding comfortable and linens high quality. Beach chairs and umbrella a nice touch.

Great Spot
Stayed here during a LAX tournament at the Polo fields and we were so happy! Easy to get to the fields and right on the beach!

Beautiful condo in great location
We loved this condo; you can hear/see the ocean, it is right across from a beautiful beach and we loved the wetlands walk. Very walkable and low-key town.

Great location and comfy beds!
This location is a super short walk to the beach and the beds are comfy! Needs more art on the walls and the kitchen could use salt/pepper/oil and hot pads for the oven.

My husband I stayed for our anniversary. The location is great, the apartment is roomy (it still would be if we brought our three kids the next time). It was clean, kitchen was stocked with necessities for cooking and cleaning. Bed was comfy. Overall, great place that we would definitely book again.

Amazing place to visit.
The only issues we had was at Check in, the door code was not correct and they were doing some sort of construction on the unit next door that was rather loud.

Awesome Fall Break Getaway!
We had a wonderful time staying at this location in Carpinteria. Checking in and out was simple. We had everything we needed in the kitchen (which makes me so happy!). Kids had comfy beds and so did we. Couldn’t ask for more. We will definitely be rebooking again. Thank you!

Great Carp Condo
Perfect location for popping over to the beach or walking into town. Lovely beach view from the balcony. Jacuzzi was great for warming up after surfing. Efficient kitchen . Great items in the beach closet!! My husband and son loved the recliner couch!! A great place to stay!

Love Carp!
1/2 block to beach and quick walk to The Spot, the local Brewery, Thai food, Little Dom’s. etc. Condo is very clean with modern upgrades throughout. We’d rent this place again in a heartbeat

Perfect family vacation spot!
We spent a week at this condo and found it to be clean, attractive, and so perfect for our family. We could see and hear the ocean from our bedrooms. The pool is an added bonus, and the condo is not directly adjacent to it. We could easily walk to town for great restaurants. We love this place and highly recommend it!

Coastal getaway
Traveled to the Santa Barbara area for our daughter’s college graduation. Found this listing and fell in love!! ALL amenities, property as listed or BETTER. Clean, excellent location, beautiful unit! Accommodations exceeded expectations! It is a two-story unit w/rather steep staircase, may not be suitable for young children… Only (minor) (-) was: no goo-gone in unit. :-( We took a couple of walks along the beach; nice weather, lovely ocean sounds and scent… awesome patio! Carpinteria is awesome— will be back!!!thank you!

Marcia, we are so pleased you enjoyed the home and were able to enjoy the beautiful Carpinteria Beach. The home is a knockout and we're glad you liked it. We stopped using Goo Gone for tar and switched to an eco-friendly wipe made locally. We have a big tray full of them outside in the sand closet next to the front door. The Perfect Stay
The place was so clean and everything needed. Kitchen was well stocked with terrific pans and all. Beds were very comfortable- location was ideal. We never drove - walked to shopping, restaurants and the beach !! Pool was clean and warm. It was December and we swam everyday. Traveling across the country - we were happy that there were basics; power towels, soap etc to get started. Carpinteria has a grocery store and organic food store. It is a quiet little village - great coffee. We are planning to return.

Solimar Sands
Overall the condo was clean and comfortable. The only complaint regarding furniture is the dining table and stools, very uncomfortable. The only other complaint we have is the downstairs bath, as a family with teenagers, it would have been nice if it had been updated, no one would use it.

I'm sorry that you weren't comfortable, the dining table and chairs are brand new and designed by Crate & Barrel. The downstairs bathroom is literally the last part of the condo that hasn't been remodeled yet, but the good news is that it's on the calendar to be done soon. Great getaway!!
We were very happy with this amazing condo! It was awesome! Clean and clutter free. Kitchen was well stock with everything we needed. We were concerned with the square footage because of traveling with children but the upstairs downstairs made it just perfect. The bedrooms were roomy and beds comfortable! The view was gorgeous. Few feet’s from the beach and just few blocks from downtown. We had issue with the wifi but property managers took care of it right away. We will definitely be back!

Great vacation spot!
We had a great time on our vacation! The place is nicely decorated and has plenty of space! We cooked at least one meal each day and the kitchen had almost everything one can need! We could have used some scissors! The location near the beach was fabulous! Just watch the last step...it's a doozie!

The beach
We wanted to be close to the beach and we were! Half a block away...beautiful :) easy walk to restaurants and grocery...only used the car once to go to a restaurant not within walking distance. Unit was clean and just the right size for four.

Great spot in Carp
This was a great unit, minus the one bathroom that still needs some updating. It was nicely redone, clean and uncluttered. The bbq was clean, quick and easy. Loved having a 2 story place. Gave the unit a spacious feel. A bonus was the beach closet with chairs and umbrella. It is so close to the beach it felt almost beach front. Spencer, the manager, was so helpful and made our stay much better. The only downside is there is a fan in the center of the unit that doesn't really help. The bedrooms especially got pretty hot during our stay.

Beach get away
We enjoyed this property which was close to the beach and very comfortable. Our boys enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi every night. We walked everywhere to get take out food. It is a good place for a family of 4-5. We would return to this property.

Wonderful stay
We are a family of 4 with two young daughters, and enjoyed a terrific stay at Solimar Sands. The apartment was tastefully decorated as the pictures show, the kitchen was very well equipped, there were plenty of towels (though we could not bring them to the beach) and adequate toiletry provisions. We loved being 1 block from a very calm beach with nice sand. The kids had a blast there, and also especially enjoyed one of the two warm pools that was 3 feet deep all around. Spencer was helpful with my questions and personable to connect with. We would very much like to return again in the future.
