Pros: room was very clean; convenient location;
restaurant on-site has late hours which is good for travelers; great view of Topaz Lake; staff was friendly & generally responsive; complimentary shampoo and conditioner were appreciated;
large TV with what appeared to be cable or direct TV (we didn't get a chance to use the TV but I'm sure others would appreciate it); convenience store on-site with very helpful staff; free wi-fi and parking; iron & board available upon request.
Cons: While staff at motel was friendly, some are in need of additional training (we asked the front desk for help locating our room as we could not find it, and were literally told that our guess was as good as theirs & good luck finding it). Some of the site materials are in need of clarification and/or updates (eg multiple buildings on site but signage not clear as to which building was which). Room was dated, dark, & strangely appointed; brown water from the tap every time we used it; stairs in need of repair; bathroom quite small with a narrow, short shower not suited for anyone over 6' (such as my husband); sink was oddly low (I'm 5'3 & it was low even for me); no counter or space for toiletries in bathroom; lacked outlets in the room in general & had none near the bathroom; no full length mirror & the only large-ish mirror was in a corner of the room that had no light source, so was kind of pointless; no microwave or refrigerator; bed was overly firm & springy.
