Excellent location within the walled city. We were within walking distance of pretty much everything. The best part is that the hotel is located in quiet area so you don’t have to worry about losing any sleep. The staff were incredible, hotel was always clean and the breakfast was delicious!!

We stayed for 4 nights. Such a cute spot the ac was fantastic in the hot weather. Cute pool, clean, yummy breakfast. Only complaint would be the hostel next door plays loud music till midnight which seemed to be an everynight thing which is unfortunate. Nothing to do with them just made nights less peaceful. Other than that loved it

It was the perfect stay!!! The staff was EXTREMELY nice and welcoming. The location is excellent as it is very close to all the touristy locations. The rooms were not that luxurious, but it had everything we needed. I really enjoyed my stay and would definately book again there if I ever go back to Cartagena.

Charming antique property right in the heart of the old city! The rooms are simple and tastefully decorated. The pool is small but a welcome treat in the Cartagena heat. There was a brownout during our stay that lasted about an hour, not the hotel's fault but something to be considered staying in this area. Also, prepare to hear music from the nearby bars and restaurants until at least 11 P.M. or so. For a reasonable fee, breakfast was home-cooked, fresh, and delicious.

Very nice colonial style hotel. Hotel is cozy and staff is very friendly. Location is perfect! everything is within walking distance restaurants, bars, bakeries, supermarket, etc. Hotel is on a quiet block making it perfect for a good night sleep. Hotel has everything you need A/C, hot water, toiletries, etc. if you are looking for a quiet place yet near by everything in the wall city this is the place for you. Hotel even has a small pool where you can hang out and relax and a 24hrs attendant.

The hotel is great but right next to it there is a hostel that blasts music from 8PM to midnight. One would normally be put, but if it is that one night that you are tired and want to rest, it becomes a nightmare. The personnel could not be more friendly though! Very nice people

Bugs and no air conditioning
When we arrived to the hotel we waited about three minutes for the staff to open the door to the hotel (it was locked). The hotel room was very hot so my friend and I left to get something to eat while the AC ran a bit. When we came back to the hotel the room was very hot (after being gone two hours). I was very sick and the staff had called a man to come fix the ac but he had no luck. I was sick with a fever and had to be in a place with ac so unfortunately, we had to book a room at another hotel. Furthermore, while waiting for the man to fix the ac, I was bitten four times while laying on the bed. When looking to see what it was, a mosquito flew out from under the pillow.

Hi Amanda, sorry to hear you were ill. We did notice the A/C was not getting as cold as it should when we offered you free early check-in and maintenance was called right away. We wish you would have felt better to wait a few more minutes as the A/C was repaired right after you left and was working again prior to normal check-in time of 3pm. Regarding the mosquito it likely flew in when you opened the door as they are quite aggressive this time of year in Cartagena due to rainy season, they unfortunately do occasionally come in even despite daily fumigation.

Although the location is very good the hotel isn't comfortable. No lift and very narrow stairs to go up with your luggage. Old furnitured and not well equipped rooms. Very kind staff.

L’emplacement est parfait, juste à l’exterieur des rues bruyantes du centre. La piscine est géniale, petit hôtel de seulement 5 chambres, très calme et intime. Le petit-déjeuner est super. Le personnel est très attentif et discret. La chambre est simple, mais confortable, peut-être à l’exception de la porte de la salle de bain qui n’est pas très étanche. Excellent rapport qualité/prix.

The staff was ok but the price I did pay for one hundred dollars for a suite witch was just a big room was no good at all for value and the bathroom was over use with an electric shower

O hotel é bem pequeno, são quatro quartos apenas, mas isso garante um atendimento muito individualizado com os hóspedes. Todos os atendentes foram bastante atenciosos e solícitos. Os únicos inconvenientes foram o cheiro de mofo no quarto que ficamos, devido a falta de entrada de ar externo (que tentaram mascarar com um aromatizador de ambiente com cheiro cítrico) e o outro foi um curto-circuito em uma tomada que ocasionou a queda de energia em todo hotel. Quanto a esse último, logo que informamos a recepção foi providenciado eletricista para solução do mesmo - que durou cerca de três horas (tempo em que saímos para aproveitar a cidade). Pelo inconveniente, ofereceram assistência necessária, inclusive, com café da manhã as 5am, pois sairíamos as 5:30am. Estávamos em grupo que ocupamos 3 dos 4 quartos e apenas o nosso tinha odor de mofo, os demais não.

Bad electricity - no lights or air con
We stayed Friday through Sunday. Friday and Sunday we had no electricity. It was a problem with the hotels electricity, not the city's electricity. No lights or air conditioning makes for a very uncomfortable stay 2 out of 3 days. No discount was offered.

The hotel is probably in the best location within the walled city so it's easy to just go round the corner and find any restraunts or activities. The staff were outstanding. So friendly and a great team of problem solvers!
