We only stayed for one night, so in that sense it was decent and comfortable. Had we done an extended stay in Casablanca, I'm not sure I would've chosen it. The room views are nice (we were on a higher floor), and the room itself was spacious, but I felt as though the interior needed a little bit of a facelift; you could tell they hadn't renovated or made any updates since it opened, which was in 2009. It also felt as though housekeeping perhaps wasn't as thorough as they should be.
We had some cleanliness issues as mentioned above, but the upside was that this was promptly resolved by housekeeping with a request at the front desk. We also found the doormen/porters to be excellent, so the service is very good. We didn't have the breakfast there or eat/drink at any of the on-site restaurants/bars, so can't comment on that.
As for location - it depends on what you want out of your stay. It's downtown, in more of in a residential/shopping area of the city and close to a lot of little cafés, so very safe and walkable - but not as close to spots you may want to check out as a tourist. (You would definitely have to take a taxi.)
