âThis was our favourite accommodation on our recent trip to Nova Scotia and PEI. The room with private bath was gorgeous. The hospitality was superb. Our host, Sandy, was charming and an outstanding storyteller. Breakfasts were a delightful and delish experience with Sandy serving in his kilt while Kathy baked croissants in the kitchen. Cannot speak highly enough about this memorable stay. â

While we were not able to stay for breakfast, one was offered for those who didnât have to leave a the break of dawn. The hotel had a cozy common living space, plenty of parking, and was about 300 metres from an ev charging station. âThis is an excellent budget hotel. We were surprised to find a kitchenette and used it. Our room was very clean and surprisingly quiet. It also had a new heat pump ac.â
âOverall a bit aged hotel but the rooms were in better condition than the rest of the hotel. Good sound proofing and nice beds.
Gym room with big dumbells are a bonus that images do not show.â
âDue to disturbing guests, our experience wasn't very good. Apart from that the hotel was good. It's a holiday express so the breakfast is continental, although they had scramble eggs and bacon. The location is not in the city centre but if you come by car that is not a problem, it's a five minutes drive to downtown. Overall a quite good value for money.â
