Apartment Gerla is a cozy and charming apartment located on the top floor of a traditional courtyard house in the heart of Cassina Valsassina. It is situated on the third floor in a characteristic attic space with a beautiful wooden ceiling that adds warmth and character to the environment. Please note: there is no elevator, so guests need to climb the stairs to the third floor.
Interior Description
The apartment consists of two bedrooms: one with a comfortable double bed and the other with a bunk bed, ideal for families or groups of friends. The living room is spacious and features a single sofa bed, perfect for accommodating an additional person. The spaces are well-organized and welcoming, offering everything needed for a comfortable stay.

Access and Shared Spaces
Guests have exclusive access to the apartment and the terrace. The access to the terrace is through the common staircase. It is not closed but not a passageway.

Summer: Numerous hiking, mountain biking, and climbing trails suitable for all levels, from beginners to experienced hikers.
Winter: The ski lifts to Piani di Bobbio and Piani d'Artavaggio offer slopes for skiing and snowboarding.
A short walk from the apartment, you'll also find a sports center with tennis courts.

Valsassina is famous for its production of both fresh and aged cheeses. Shops, restaurants, and agriturismi offer traditional dishes such as pizzoccheri, polenta, and brasato.
How to Get There
Public Transport:
The D35 bus line connects Cassina to Lecco. The bus runs about once an hour, with the last run around 7:00 PM.
By Car:
Cassina is easily reachable in 20 minutes from Lecco and in 1 to 1.5 hours from Milan.
Two parking spaces are available in the shared courtyard, but they need to be reserved in advance. Access to parking can be tricky due to the narrow streets of the historic center. Alternatively, there is a large free parking area nearby, just a few minutes' walk from the apartment.
