“This was our 3rd time staying here. The courtyard patio access is helpful for us with a pup. Room was clean and provided necessary accommodations (small fridge, microwave, coffee maker, adequate outlets, clean towels and soap/shampoo/conditioner), the bed however was not comfortable. An upgrade in mattresses would be nice considering the cost per night to stay. The bar/restaurant has decent food but the service was poor. They were short staffed so some grace was given but I think they actually...

“The room was very nice! Very clean..with a fireplace!! The staff was awesome also! I would highly recommend this place to stay at..it was an awesome experience.I will stay here again for sure. The price was very good also... I loved this place !!”

“Room was clean, had decent amenities and the staff were polite. The furniture was a bit worn. Refrigerator a bit noisy at night and we only had one luggage rack, causing us to move the luggage frequently.”

“The beds and pillows needs to be changed. I woke up with a back pain from sagging bed. Other than that, it was okay and we stayed there just for the night and it’s a bummer I could get a good sleep.”

“We went to snowmobile and the snow didn’t cooperate but we settled in to our sweet thoughtfully detailed room. We were told it was the smallest of the rooms but as a couple we enjoyed it and the Mountain View’s. We took advantage of the eateries downstairs loving the Butcher Block grill gotta try the steak sandwiches!! So good. Loved exploring the area and coming back to the common areas and a toasty fire. The history of this place is so cool and got to have a lovely conversation with the owner...

“The room was old but well maintained and clean. Bed was sooo hard like a rock, coffee maker in room didn’t work, but the coffee available in front office was wonderful. Staff was kind and helpful. Recommended Curry King across the street which had great Indian food and yes mexican food. Wonderful, staff very polite and helpful. The continental breakfast was the best! Had boil egg, bananas, apples, danishes, bagels, toast, cereal, hot chocolate, oatmeal, cream cheese was available and milk. ...

“The Hotel and our room was high end classy but yet very comfortable and homey at the same time. The bathrooms were amazing!! They had all the amenities of home down to having Q-tips in the bathroom. The heated bathroom floors were so nice when getting out of the shower. Rachel was a wonderful host and was more than helpful when letting us know of places to eat and places to sight see. Her store in the lobby was very nice and quaint with all local vendors products. If we are ever in the Shasta...

“I had a terrifying experience at this place! It all started when the MAN who cleaned the rooms knocked on my door first thing in the morning asking if I wanted housekeeping service. There was no sign indicating that I needed cleaning service, so he should not have been knocking on the door of a woman staying ALONE. On the last day, he knocked on my door between 8 and 9 a.m. asking if I was checking out, even though check-out was only at 11 a.m. Why the hell was he doing that? I opened the door...
