Our feedback on the villa
Trullo Fantastico is a lovely renovation, in a beautiful setting and we enjoyed our stay. Thank you for the wine and local products.
However, on our arrival there were a number of things that we expected to be there and they weren’t. Obviously how you furnish your home is entirely your decision, this list is just meant to be helpful.
1. Kitchen linen - tea towels, oven gloves & kitchen towel
2. Cleaning equipment - dustpan and brush, mop (we would have also said a broom but there was one outside at the back), more powerful vacuum cleaner (we cleaned it but still couldn’t get a good pull). We had a dog and it rained 3 times heavily so we had to clean the floor by hand.
3. Cleaning products - there was no washing-up liquid or any cleaning products. This meant we had to head out to the shops immediately after we arrived.
4. Chopping board - there appeared to be only a bread board.
5. Salt & pepper - there was 8g of salt but that didn’t go far.
6. Bedding - The double bed was a bit chilly, as there was no duvet. The single beds had duvets but with no covers and they were a bit stained. We wondered how they had been sanitized, between guests?
We also both would have welcomed better pillows. The pillows are very thin/soft and lumpy for sleeping on. Plus, the bed heads are metal bars - so it is difficult to get comfortable sitting up in bed.
6. There was no conversion plug for an English plug and we had asked if they would be available - we were told they were in the villa.
