Casa La Misura, garden and pool in the heart of Chianti

La Misura house is part of Borgo Montecastelli, a beautiful rural complex located right on the border between the provinces of Siena and Florence. Due to its strategic position, straddling two valleys, Borgo Montecastelli enjoys a magnificent panorama from its summit towards the villages that surround it: Panzano, Radda in Chianti, Castellina in Chianti, as well as farmhouses, churches, and towers.

La Misura was born from a skillful renovation of the old family barn, spread over 2 floors, has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and can comfortably accommodate up to 7 people.

You enter a large and elegant living room equipped with a fireplace, smart TV, Hi-Fi system, and a comfortable desk perfect for studying or working. From the living room, you reach the kitchen/dining room, fully equipped and with a large table perfect for sharing lunches and dinners with family and friends. The kitchen also has direct access to the garden surrounding the property. The ground floor is completed by a comfortable single room, a bathroom with a shower, and a laundry/ironing area fully equipped for these functions.

From the living room, a staircase leads to the upper floor where you will find a large double bedroom, a twin bedroom, and another bedroom with a single bed, as well as another bathroom with a tub and shower.

Outside there is a pleasant garden shaded by a centuries-old oak perfect for dining, relaxing, and enjoying the countryside. Table, umbrella, and brick barbecue will be at your disposal.

Leaving the house, walking downwards, you will find the path that leads to the swimming pool among the olive trees. The pool is shared with the other 4 houses that are part of the borgo.

For stays longer than 2 weeks, a change of linen for all guests is included in the price.

From 15/10 to 30/04 extra gas fee of € 18 per day.

At check-out there will be a tourist tax to be paid, which is 2€ per day per person from 14 years of age. The city tax is calculated on a maximum of 7 nights.

Swimming pool is available from May 1st until October 1st
