Top Dream Villa in Tuscany

This was our first experience staying at a VRBO and we definitley picked a winner! From the moment you arrive you realize this is what you always imagined Tuscany would be! Michael has thought of everything. His home is exquisite! We were traveling with another couple and stayed for seven nights. We sat outside every evening in the the beautiful courtyard surrounded by vineyards. The property is perfectly located in the middle of Tuscany. We hired Stefano a driver/guide that Michael recommended. He drove us to a winery in the Montalcino region and to a great farm to table restaurant for lunch, a great start to our week. On another day we visited Antinori vineyards for a great lunch and tour! We had three fabulous dinners at Osteria alla Villa where the owner Rudolfo, his wife Angela and server Danelli took very good care of us with fabulous food and wine! The restaurant is located close by in the town of Villa A Sesta. It was a wonderful experience and we cant thank Micheal enough for sharing his beautiful home with us.

Great vacation home in Tuscany

We had an amazing time at Michael's villa in Tuscany. Upon arrival we were greeted by Maria and served a home cooked Italian meal with fantastic wine. The location was perfect, centrally located to travel north to Florence as well as south to Val D'Orcia and Montepulciano. But even in our backyard of Villa a Sesta there were TWO Michelin one star restaurants literally walking distance way. We ate at Del 30 (which Michael set up for us) and was excellent--served by the owner and head chef. The house had all the amenities we needed with a idyllic views of vineyards as far as the eye can see. Highly recommend! Would definitely stay again.

Tuscany

If you're looking for a place to relax, enjoy wonderful food and wine, this is the place. The home is charming, the countryside beautiful, food and wine were low cost and fantastic. Close to Siena and only about 1.5 hour drive from Florence. We highly recommend this place.

Idyllic Slice of La Dolce Vita

Tough to capture all of the things we loved about Michael’s property…. It started with the timely and accurate communications leading up to our arrival, ensuring we knew how to arrive and access the property. Upon meeting us there, Michael was the consummate host and had several local delicacies available for us to eat/drink. I won’t spoil it for others, but wow…. What a treat! After a thorough tour of the place, showing us how everything worked, we enjoyed spending a few minutes getting to know Michael and his vision for the property. He slipped away and we began a week in heaven…. So perfectly located in the heart of Tuscany. Our day trips to Siena, Florence, San Quirico and several other towns were amazing. Three Michelin starred restaurants within 2 km (AMAZING food…). Beautiful scenic drives, castles, vineyards everything so conveniently located nearby but TOTALLY private while at La Chiusa. We truly cannot wait to come back. Michael - Thank you so very much for sharing your place with us…. Ciao!!!

Tuscan splendor

Our stay was beyond lovely - the house was the perfect mix of comfort and beauty. It felt larger than in the pictures and the outdoor spaces were especially spectacular. Michael was helpful with recommendations and we had everything we needed to cook and enjoy ourselves outdoors. The location was great - minutes from two lovely towns with amazing restaurants and 1/2 hour from Siena - all while being at the pool or outside on the patio felt totally private and secluded. Would come return in a heartbeat.

Tuscany at it Finest.

The property is better than described. Michael's attention to detail are on full display within the property and throughout our stay. During our stay we had constant access to our host with information and making sure everything was to our complete satisfaction. This centrally located property is a must stay if traveling in the region. We look forward to our next visit where we will stay here again!

Lovely stay in Tuscany

Overall the property is true Tuscan style, with all the modern conveniences. It was perfect for two couples, and the pool is extremely peaceful and private.

Tuscan Paradise

This property is amazing. Six of us stayed here comfortably. It was easy to find and central to so many of Tuscany's beautiful towns and cities. Michael is an incredible host and always available for any questions. We recommend this villa to anyone that is interested in ensuring their visit to Tuscany is first rate. Well done.

Perfection!!!!

I don't know where to begin, as it is difficult to describe the countless extra fine details that make this luxury villa the highest standard for all luxury vacation rental properties should be judged...from the thoughtfully filled fridge, the welcome basket, the freedom to use and enjoy everything and even the small packet of fireworks for our kids to celebrate July 4th.....just to name a few. The patio, the location, the comfort, the coziness, the privacy, the pool, the decor, the recommendations, the kitchen, the patio again, the details again - WOW! A note to potential future renters......if you are fortunate enough to come across this listing while looking for a place to stay in Tuscany. Stop looking. You will not find better. Thank you for allowing us to stay and experience Tuscany.

Stress free luxury.

Everything was just as advertised, if not better. The house is in a picture book location and was very comfortable for the 7 of us. Michael was a very responsive and attentive host who was happy to help us with everything, including restaurant recommendations and reservations. Our 6 year olds loved the house, the pool and the cats. Michael introduced us to Stefano, who we hired to pick us up from the airport and drive us around throughout our stay. We highly recommend this as it saved us from stressing about directions, parking etc and allowed us to have an extra glass of wine at lunchtimes. A wonderful trip from start to finish.

Perfect spot for a family trip

The place is even more beautiful than the pictures and exceeded our expectations. Michael was the perfect host - he helped us arrange catered dinners, provided lots of local recommendations and was very responsive to any questions.

Just perfect!

Six of us (including a 7 and 8 year old) stayed at this villa and it was absolutely amazing. We had Emily come out and cook and serve dinner our first night and it was nothing short of magical. The property is very well kept and furnished. The bathrooms and kitchen are modern and had all of the amenities us Chicagoans would desire. The location was close enough to the hill towns to easily go in for dinner or site seeing but far enough away to feel like you're in your own, secluded Tuscan estate. The view was absolutely breath taking. I'm recommending this beautiful property to all of my friends!

This property and Villa is absolutely beautiful. A perfect example of what Tuscany is all about.

Michael was so welcoming and very attentive to our needs. He was so helpful to our group. This Villa is absolutely gorgeous as well as the property. I have never seen anything like it. If you want to experience Tuscany this is the place to go.
