“Charming if slightly jaded hotel on a rocky beach. We picked it largely because of reviews claiming it had very good beach snorkling. Experienced divers and snorkelers will find that it has not. Only a couple of small live coralheads, admitedly a variety of smaller fish but mostly rocks and dead coral. The current can also be strong at times and the site is not ideal for children snorkeling. Annoying water scooters disturb the peace at times. The food is very good "americanized" mexican cooking...

The sunbeds at the pool could do with an update as they’re pretty uncomfortable but the food at the pool bar is delicious and all the staff are super friendly and helpful. ”

We were welcomed by one of the employed who was very generous to spend a hole hour to give us recommendations for our few days on the island, what to do and where to eat etc! “A wonderful resort. Fantastic hotel with spacious rooms and nice and clean bathrooms. We had a balcony with amazing view from 7th floor. The beach is long and you can walk between the hotels nearby. The hotel next to Melia has a really nice beach with fantastic snorkeling. It is only a couple of minutes walk. I really recommend choosing The Level. The beach service is suberb and also the bali beds.”

“Excellent stay. Very comfortable room and shared spaces. We rented a scooter a few days directly from the property which was very convenient. Location is a little away from downtown which we found to be more quiet. Felt safe walking around even at night. There are several great food options within a few blocks. Would definitely stay again when in the area. ”
