“First off there was nobody at the front desk when we arrived in the morning, we got there about 0130 and our room key was just taped to the main door in an envelope with my name written on it. I called to add an extra day since we would be arriving early they were unable to give us the same room booked for the next two days I understand but when I checked in to the other room at 7am it was ready??? Then when we got to the room we booked for saturyand Sunday night there were dirty underwear...

Trevlig hjälpsam personal och tillgång till gratis shuttle till båten som kör till Mackinac island. Fiskmåsar utanför hotellrummet kunde vara lite närgångna eftersom vissa hotellgäster matar dom trots att det står skyltar att det är förbjudet.”

“This little motel was THE PERFECT stay while I was in St. Ignace for 4 days. I love the vintage-feel of the motel and the newly-updated rooms! Bed was super comfortable and so was the recliner in the room. Room was super clean and had everything I needed. When I come back to St. Ignace, I will always stay at The Cedars!!!!!!! I recommend this super nice motel to everyone!!! 🌟🌟🌟”

“Holiday Inn Express St. Ignace was pretty rough. We had a room on the first floor, which is technically like a walk-out basement. The room had a sliding glass door to the outside where a common firepit and chairs are situated. The lake and shore are right there which is nice. The room felt so shabby that we did not enjoy our stay. The edges of the carpet at corners and seams were frayed. The track to the sliding door was filthy. This hotel needs a refresh.”

“Everything was great, except for the flies. Would go back in the summer, not sure May is the best time for the beach.”

“The bathroom shower. Shower took forever to warm up and then never got hot shower level. The rest of the room is nice. If they could fix the shower we'd stay again.”

“Front desk employees were very friendly and helpful! Free hot breakfast had many choices. Property grounds were accommodating for relaxing outside by the lake front although we visited during the “midge fly season” and there was no way to avoid them but to stay inside.”

“Unfriendly staff. Pool was closed down by the city. Rooms were filthy, full of bugs and hairs and damages to property. Will never stay here again.”

“The hotel could use some updating but otherwise it was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. Our room had a huge balcony with a fantastic view of the Mackinac Bridge.”

“The rooms were very clean and spacious. Bed very comfortable. The hot tub felt like we were getting drowning in chemical fumes… the whole pool area honestly just felt stuffy. Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast! About 15 minute walk to St.Ignace downtown which was great! All around, we are very pleased with our time.”
