We were in a room next to the pub so we didnât have any noise except from guests using the hot tub and they quieted about 930.
Only issue we had was it was warm so we wanted the windows open but the staff used the space by our window as a smoking area. We were able to open after they left for the night.
Small nice kitchen with convenience store across the street that had basic groceries for all meals. â
âThis place was great! Huge rooms, high end bar and restaurants prem, and very responsive staff. Drawbacks: 3 flights up for some rooms if youâre in need of accessibility, and the bar didnât have a corkscrew for a wine bottle we wanted to enjoy before dinner. But no prob, they located it after about 15-20 min and we had a great night!â

We had chosen a suite to stay in this time; it was clean and perfect for all we had to do, including the to-ing and fro-ing of all the funeral arrangements and calls. The room was quiet and comfortable, and my wife LOVED the bath, which she enjoyed in the evenings after the difficulties of running around arranging the funeral.
One evening, our last night, we ordered food and drinks. The food and drinks were 'lost' in the system and delayed. When we mentioned it, we were given our food for free and multiple apologies from the staff.
Can I say whoever trains these staff does a fantastic job? I like that they have the autonomy to fix things or make decisions that keep the customer happy.
We will visit Kilkenny regularly and in favour of more trendy or even expensive places we will come back to the Pembroke again because of our fantastic and memorable experience here"
