The house is beautiful, and you can't beat the location. It was like it was made specifically for our girls' weekend. Lisa, our host, was very responsive to our questions. If you're looking for a place in this area, you couldn't find a lovelier place!

This is hands down the best Vrbo we’ve ever booked. Lisa has added so many thoughtful features to the home itself to make it comfortable and fun! Stunning views of the ocean (we watched sunsets on the deck), giant TV in the living room, and the Lululemon mirror was great! Kitchen was very well stocked with more than what you need to cook meals/bake. The area is very quiet and serene. Lisa is so kind and responded quickly to requests/messages. My husband and I stayed here by ourselves but the home would be great for a family vacation!

Such a gorgeous beach property in a lovely area. We appreciated so much that there were amenities for kids too (baby gate, toys, movies, Disney, beach toys, etc). Check in was easy and seamless. The instructions for everything were easy to access and understand. The home is tidy. The view and proximity to the beach is unmatched. We will actively be looking to stay in the Dunes for our future visits!

Beautiful rustic beach location ! Beach condo was great! 3 different levels with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Master bedroom did have an odor near bathroom but hopefully can be addressed. Home well stocked with lots of nice extras. Clubhouse has tennis, pickleball, swimming and hot tub. Very private and quiet area! We would definitely stay here again. Another chair or 2 by windows looking at beach would be great! We moved chairs from bedrooms to allow all to sit and watch the beautiful beach!

The location was outstanding, with not just amazing views but such quick and easy access to the beach. Everyone loved being so close to the beach and popping out for playing games, shell collecting or a sunset walk. The property was very well fitted out, with everything you could ever need - TVs signed into all major streaming services, oodles of DVDs (we watched some classics!), electronically adjustable firmness beds, exercise mirror, steam shower, and very modern kitchen. The host was super responsive to even the most minor of issues ensuring a fabulous stay - we could not of asked for more, thank you!

This place was magical with beautiful surroundings. This condo has very nice appliances and beds. Access to the hot tub was a bonus. We used it as a jumping off point to point loves and Big Sur for day trips and then had a wonderful place to unwind afterward. Would book again!

Lovely coastal location right on the dunes north of Monterey. Easy drive to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. The owner was very helpful and responsive. The beds and linens were so comfortable. We saw dolphins from the condo, and a neighbor said there was a pod of whales! All the decor was so cute, and the bathroom fixtures were very luxurious. Highly recommend! (Also we liked the Trolley Car Rotisserie in Castroville for an easy take-out family dinner and the Country Kitchen in Prunedale for a fantastic brunch on our way out of town.)

This was easily the best vacation rental we've ever stayed in. Most vacation rentals are stocked with very cheap appliances and utensils, and cooking in some can be quite a challenge. But everything here was top notch. My teenage girls really enjoyed each having their own room with comfortable beds. The host provided very clear and helpful communications about our stay before and during our trip. The walk to the beach was as advertised, only seconds away. Incredible views from 2nd floor picture windows.

The pictures don't do the house justice. This place felt more like a home than most rentals. Home is well equipped, comfortable, labels everywhere so you know how things work, and the security at the entrance was amazing! Lisa is a fantastic and I hope to stay here again!

Amazing Property!!

We loved this property! Excellent views of the ocean, easy access to the beach, club house privileges (tennis, basketball, pool in the summer, hot tub, etc), VERY QUIET neighborhood, quick access to Monterey, includes use of four free passes to the Aquarium, very clean, well stocked kitchen, extremely responsive host. This property was perfect! We highly recommend!

The Best Vacation

We chose this home, after much research, for our first big family vacation and it did not disappoint! The location right on the beach is amazing, especially with the giant windows that allowed me to watch my kids play while staying inside. The comfy chairs were my favorite spot to watch the sunrise with my morning coffee. Every appliance we might need was available. The bathrooms were well stocked and the showers were lovely. I actually slept well each night thanks to the sleep number beds! Our only complaint the whole trip was that we had to leave too soon. Highly highly recommend!

Everything Promised and More

A lovely, cozy and spacious home. Perfect for families or mixed groups. While it’s not a swimming beach, the waves were incredible to watch the house or the short walk to the dunes. The clubhouse has great amenities, and the house provided rackets and other activities. My son and his friend had a great time!

Fun family getaway

I stayed here over President’s Day weekend with my husband and our two kids (12 and 8), and my cousin, her partner and her son (4). The kids loved the beach which is right in front of the property accessed by a short walkway- it is not swimmable but they loved dipping their feet, playing in the sand and flying a kite that was at the house. We also enjoyed the hot tub at the clubhouse. We all ate dinner at the dining table and there is a huge TV in the living room as well as the bedrooms and big DVD selection plus streaming services. Chairs are set up overlooking the ocean with a telescope. 25 minute drive to Monterey, 8-10 minute drive to Castroville which is a small town with various food options (lots of seafood and Mexican). We met people who live there full time who also recommend a Thai restaurant in Moss Landing which is not far. It was more remote than I realized, surrounded by farmlands, so you definitely have to drive to go anywhere outside the gated community.
